It's part 2 of my Silver Dollar Challenge! For those who missed part 1, this is a challenge where I've given myself a $1 budget to rent a deck for each faction for the entire month. Each day I'll publish a new splinter leading up to the livestream at 2:30 eastern on Saturday where I'll participate in a Silver tournament (and give away prizes to those who come!).
Wow was I surprised by the cheap prices for the Life splinter! I got a total of 14 cards for only 67 cents! My original budget allowed for a total of $6 to be spent over the course of the week, but I'm wondering if I can actually keep it under $5 now after my savings today, as I decided not to spend everything. Here's a look at what I got:
Kralus - 21 cents
Hydra - 11 cents
Chanseus the Great - 6 cents
Armorsmith Level 4 - 6 cents
Silvershield Knight Level 4 - 5 cents
Divine Healer - Level 3 - 4 cents
High Priest Darius - 3 cents
Goblin Mech Level 4 - 3 cents
Bila the Radient - 3 cents
Sacred Unicorn - 3 cents
Silvershield Warrior Level 4 - 3 cents
Light Elemental - 3 cents
Temple Priest - 3 cents
Sand Worm - 3 cents
There's so much synergy and survivability in this deck! It's super fun building teams where I'm healing for more damage than my opponents are dishing out. Chanseus the Great just seems like an absolute steal at only 6 cents. I do feel a little vulnerable to magical attacks, but all of the armor and ability to replenish it has me feeling invincible against physical attacks! I can't wait to see how it holds up in the tournament on Saturday!

you mention your life deck doesn't have much resistance to magic - to help you find cards by ability you can use https://www.splintercards.com/abilities.html
clay golem or crystal werewolf might be the cards to look at
