Greetings to the Splinterlands community! I hope you had a wonderful Christmas Eve with your loved ones. We're less than a week away from New Year's, and I'm not sure if I'll be active on the blog next week, so I wanted to share my latest progress in the Frontier format. Two weeks ago I shared an update of my archons that I had finally leveled up, along with several monsters that I was waiting to max out. These archons were waiting to finally reach their maximum level. So today, I'll share the Foundations packs I opened this week and the progress I made with them.
Un gran saludo comunidad de Splinterlands! Espero que hayan tenido una feliz y agradable noche de navidad con sus seres queridos. Ya estamos a menos de una semana de año nuevo y no estoy muy seguro si estaré activo la semana próxima en el blog así que quise compartirles mi más reciente progreso en el formato de Frontier. Hace 2 semanas le había compartido una actualización de mis arcontes que ya había llevado finalmente al máximo nivel junto a varios monstruos que estaba esperando maxear estos arcontes para finalmente llevarlos al máximo nivel. Así que hoy te compartiré los Foundations packs que abrí esta semana y los progreso que alcancé con ellos.
Last week I played very little, to be honest, I'm focused on gathering the glints needed to buy the rare seasonal skins, but this week I got back into action on Frontier and until yesterday I farmed my usual 3 packs in Gold League I. This is what they contained:
La semana pasada jugué muy poco la verdad estoy enfocado en reunir los glints necesarios para comprar los skins raros de temporada, pero esta semana retomé la acción en Frontier y hasta ayer farmie mis acostumbrados 3 packs en la liga de Oro I. Este fue su contenido:

Well, I already have many of these monsters, including Archons, maxed out, so I'm thinking about what to do with them. Should I burn them to get lottery tickets and try my luck with a Gold Arcane, Black Leaf, or Black Arcane? I might sell the Gold ones I've gotten to replenish the Decs I need to buy grain for my stone plot. The thing is, since these cards are already saturating the market, I have to be patient until I can sell one of them.
Bien, ya muchos de estos monstruos incluyendo arcontes los tengo al máximo así que estoy pensando que hacer con ellos, si quemarlos para obtener tickets de lotería y probar suerte con una carta dorada arcana, lámina negra o lámina negra arcana. Las doradas que he conseguido quizás las venda para reponer Decs que necesito para comprar grano en mi parcela de piedra. El asunto es que siendo cartas que ya están saturando el mercado hay que tener paciencia hasta lograr que alguna de esas cartas pueda venderse.
Cards lvl up/Upgradeando cartas
A good portion of my cards are maxed out now; there are only a few left to upgrade, mainly from the neutral class. But this time we were lucky enough to max out two key cards that I needed to upgrade as soon as possible! The first is the Earth Splinter: Time Bandit. This card adds two magic units with two magic damage to the Earth class. Another advantage is that it cures the tank in the front line of negative effects. Finally, this unit has a huge amount of health, making it ideal for those stamina battles that depend on the maximum health of the units.
Ya una buena parte de mis cartas están al máximo, solo quedan unas cuantas por upgradear principalmente de la clase neutra. Pero en esta ocasión tuvimos la suerte de llevar al máximo 2 cartas clave que necesitaba upgradear lo más pronto posible! La primera es del splinter de tierra: Time Bandit, con esta carta sumamos 2 unidades mágica con 2 de daño mágico para la clase tierra. La otra ventaja es que cura de efectos negativos al tanque en la vanguardia y por último, esta unidad tiene una enorme cantidad de vida que lo hace ideal para esas batallas de resistencia que dependen de la cantidad de vida máxima en las unidades.
Lastly, we have A'lan Musketeer, a key piece I've been waiting for for far too long. I lost too many games because of this card at max level, but now things are going to change. Speaking of which, I want to share my most recent battles with these cards at max level so we can see how they perform. Let's begin!
Por último tenemos a A'lan Musketeer una pieza clave que estaba esperando durante demasiado tiempo, perdí demasiadas partidas por esta carta al máximo nivel pero ahora las cosas van a cambiar y justamente hablando de eso quiero compartirte mis más recientes batallas con estas cartas al máximo nivel para que veamos su desempeño. Featured Battles/Batallas Destacadas
Our first battle is using the level 4 Archon Incessant Sage. I like to use this high-health Splinter in low-mana battles (between 25-27 mana) that don't involve mages. In this case, the key piece of my strategy is the max-level Twice Yester Knight tank to contain enemy attacks with its Shield ability. This splinter, along with the ground version, is the only one to have a stealth unit with 2 melee attack that can attack the back row. Combined with Vengeful Monk, they are the best option for winning low-mana battles.
Nuestra primera batalla es usando al arconte Incessant Sage lvl 4, este splinter de vida me gusta utilizarlo en batallas de bajo mana entre 25-27 de mana y que no involucre magos. En este caso la pieza clave de mi estrategia es el tanque Twice Yester Knight al máximo nivel para contener al los ataques enemigos con su habilidad Shield. Thalgrimore lvl 4
With the Archon Thalgrimmore, I took the opportunity to test the power of two cards in particular: first, the common Black Widow, which at max level can poison its target, providing a great advantage in high-mana battles or with the Equality ruleset. The second is the legendary A'lan Musketeer, whose Double Strike ability can deal up to 4 damage in a single turn. I couldn't take advantage of this card's potential at level 1 because it only dealt 1 damage, but at max level, simply increasing its damage to 2 makes it a unit capable of melting any tank that faces it.

Aurelia lvl 4
After the Water Splinter, the one I use most is the Earth Splinter. With Aurelia level 4, I can use Time Bandit level 4 and take advantage of its +2 damage. Since one of the rulesets was to apply Enrage to all units, I risked using Dire Bear, as it increases its damage to 5 when enraged. To prevent it from being immediately taken down, I used the decoy New Beluroc Aegis, allowing me to eliminate the enemy tank. For secondary containment, I used Giam Root, which is literally a reinforced wall while my two magic units continue attacking.
Después del Splinter de agua, el que más utilizo es el de tierra. Con Aurelia lvl 4 puedo utilizar a Time Bandit lvl 4 y aprovechar su +2 de daño, como una de las rulesets era aplicar enrage a todas las unidades me arriesgué a usar Dire Bear ya que aumenta su daño a 5 al enfurecerse y para evitar que le dieran de baja inmediatamente usé el señuelo New Beluroc Aegis y así poder eliminar al tanque enemigo. Como contención secundaria usé a Giam Root que es literalmente un muro reforzado mientras mis 2 unidades mágicas siguen atacando.

Metas por completar para 2026/Goals to complete by 2026
With just a few days left in 2025, there are goals that will definitely have to wait until next year, and one of them is getting Splinterlands to finally deign to give me the necessary copies to max out the Fire Archon. RNG is definitely an issue that needs to be addressed, as evidenced by the bitter taste left by the Conclave Alchemy and Legendary packs. We might see it as something almost harmless here, but imagine those players who invested in Alchemy packs and ended up with common gold cards. Anyway, it's very difficult to play in Gold 1 using a level 2 Archon, which is why I want to sell some of my gold Foundation cards to buy some copies of this Archon and at least get it to level 3.
A pocos días de terminar este 2025 hay metas que definitivamente quedarán para el próximo año y una de ellas es que Splinterlands se digne finalmente darme los copias necesarias para llevar al arconte de fuego al máximo nivel, definitivamente el RNG es un tema que tiene que ser revisado, una evidencia de ello fue el amargo sabor de boca que dejaron los packs Conclave de alquimia y legendarios. Aquí lo podemos ver de una forma casi inofensiva pero imagínense aquellos jugadores que invirtieron en packs de alquimia y terminaron obteniendo cartas comunes doradas. En fin, es muy complicado jugar en oro I usando un arconte de lvl 2 y es por tanto la razón de porque quiero poner a la venta algunas de mis cartas foundation doradas y así comprar algunas copias de este arconte para al menos tenerla lvl 3.
The other goal is with the Water Splinter. Although I've already managed to get its Archon to level 4, the unit that really makes the difference is the level 2 Mystic Scaleweaver, which increases its magic damage to 3. I have two copies, so I could get the one I need at any moment. That's why I haven't shared a battle with this Splinter, since even with a level 3 Archon you can easily win battles in Gold I, and basically a level 1 Mystic Scaleweaver is like playing a level 2 Archon.
La otra meta es con el splinter de agua, aunque ya logré llevar a su arconte al nivel 4, la unidad que realmente hace la diferencia es el Mystic Scaleweaver lvl 2 que aumenta su daño mágico a 3. Tengo 2 copias así que en cualquier momento puede caer la que me falta. Es la razón por la que no les compartí una batalla con este splinter ya que incluso con un arconte en nivel 3 puedes perfectamente ganar batallas en oro I y básicamente un Mystic lvl 1 es como si estuvieras manejando un arconte lvl 2.
Of course, there are still units to level up, particularly the rest of the common and rare neutral units, but the difference is only reduced to 1 point of hitpoints or defense, which isn't that crucial unless you're already very high in the rankings, and it's not viable for me if I still have a level 2 Fire Archon.
Por supuesto, aun quedan unidades que subir de nivel, particularmente el resto de las unidades comunes y raras neutras pero la diferencia ya solo se reduce a 1 punto de vida o de defensa que no es tan crucial a menos que ya estés muy arriba en el ranking y es inviable para mi si todavía sigo teniendo un arconte de fuego lvl 2.
