Hey Summoners,

I used to be not able to write about Red Challenges because i do not have decent Red summoner, until Chaos Legion comes and after opening more than 1000 packs suddenly do have decent Red units and this Radiated Brute being a Chaos Legion unit that i occasionally use.

My thoughts on da Bruteeee

At higher levels the Brute makes a very interesting 2nd position DPS. A lil too weak to be an off-tank but what he lacks in health and armor he makes it up with the Rage skill which gets activated if the Brute takes damage from Blast attacks to the tank although in terms of power level, i feel Fineas Rage is better if you have the Mana...on low Mana Brute is a better choice but Fineas is always a good 2nd position attacker.

Summoner - Yodin Zaku

Nothing much needs to be said about Yodin. I dare say the most powerful 7 cost summoner in the game. Its quite broken until that if some luck is on your side, even with level 1s you can win easily. Blast is extremely good that even if your opponent knows you are using this its not easy to defend. Its power reflects in the pricing as this the most expensive 7 cost summoner in the game !!

• 32 Mana

• Fire / Dragon Splinter

Strategy

Decided to go for Yodin as it looks to be the best option here to try to rush blast my opponent. From the battle history he likely go for Yodin, which will be a mirror match. If its a mirror match speed is of the essence...

The Lineup

• Da Tank - Forgotten One
  My usual goto tank for Fire as i do not have high lvl Magnor or Living Lava. Sometimes i go with Tusk the Wide if i feel my opponent is going heavy magic but i figured due to the Armor absorb magic ruleset Forgotten One can provide me more damage options. Also love its retaliate ability too as his Damage is pretty decent.

• Off-Tank - Radiated Brute
  Not really a good off tank but i am hoping he can do some decent blast damage when enraged, can easily take out any weak HP fodders.

• Off-Tank/DPS - Molten Ash Golem
  Excellent new addition from Chaos Legion to the Fire lineup. One of my favorite Fire cards to be used in conjunction with Yodin. Sometimes i use him as a front line tank too as he has quite high health pool.

• DPS - Lava Spider
  Only 3 mana cost but offering Snipe + Ensare, ensuring he damages at 3 opponents creatures every turn. Also one of my must have in a low mana Yodin Line-up.

• Filler - Xenith Archer
  Had 2 mana left and not sure what to put. I figure i can slot this in for a lil damage.

• Sneak Fodder - Fire Fiend
  Usually i will put a chicken or a fiend at the back depending on the situation to tank a Sneak hit.

Round 1 I kinda felt i gambled wrongly. Did not expect this Magic Dragon summoner at all as his history is not showing this, was kinda expecting a mirror Yodin Match. Luckily the ruleset allows the Forgotten One to tank a bit of magic attacks. My hope is that i am able to blast him quicker than he magic me to death....this will be a close match.

Round 2 Our tanks died and the dodge dragon in front is proving to be a pain in da ass...but my enraged Brute should be able to take it down, hopefully as its ensnared and not flying anymore and i can finally hit it. Been missing alot during round 1. Still i am quite concern about his Magic Firepower...fingers crossed.

Still in Round 2 my Brute died taking the Dragon with him and weakening the Magic Reflect Ball to like 1 HP. I should be able to kill both the Ball and Snake this round...the Gold Dragons is a concern though as it has Magic Blast and Self Heal. I must take him out in 1 round ASAP.

Previous Round as expected my blasts takes out everything except the Gold Dragon. Now it has come to this it will be my win IF i don't miss the crap out of it....even if i miss some, i got 2 rounds to play with as he cannot kill any of my units this round.

Conclusion & VICTORY

This was a showcase more of Yodin's power and why its such an expensive card more than the usefulness of Radiated Brute. Blast is an OP mechanic as shown in this battle where i do not even have Magic defense, and him having arguable a better line-up than mine.

However the Brute is mentioned earlier is really useful in some situations like this when taking a Blast damage from the dragon, getting enraged and hitting back the opponent Hard~~ Useful in some situations but i would say the Fineas Rage would be better in most other situations.
