One of my best Twitter accounts is Splinterlands. It keeps me informed about all the important news in the ecosystem and #Hive posting events like a media challenge. In my opinion, those challenges are an incredible way of increasing the pride of being part of this community, as every player shares his/her game experience with others, allowing others to learn about everyone's successes and mistakes. For this one, I bring a summary of my last Diamond tournament, where I finished 72nd and got some juicy SPS in rewards. I will also bring a couple of tournament duels. Hope you like it!

Bots in modern everywhere reaching the end!!

Things have turned very difficult for Diamond 1 jumping to Champion. You face every day an army of well-loaded collection Bots with thousands and thousands of battles in their database ready to optimize the battle that you are facing. Although this fact generates frustration, it also forces everyone to give their best. As I am writing this post, we are in the mid-season and I have managed to hit Diamond 1 and will try hard to hit Champion (want those 3 figures SPS Champion chest hard!). Since the SPS stacking requirement went live a lot of dynamics in the game have changed: first of all an enormous value to the Splinterlands governance token has been given, forcing every one of us to stack SPS to boost our rewards. Also a price bump from 0,016$ to 0,024$. And Third but not less important, there's a kinda feeling that the end of the bear market has come to an end. Yet land 1.5 has to come and another major change: bots will be banned in modern very soon. I know that this will be a major change for a player like me that has fought against bots and tried to optimize every single card rented. I hope all this suffering will be turned into glory!

My personal SPS Stacking Update

So here we are! Everyday stacking rewards, turning my earnings in content creation to SPS, and collecting my nodes and SPS stacking earnings. All of this daily work has brought me to 55k! So happy about the amount but I feel I am pretty far from where I want to be:

I will keep doing my best to increase this amount. 100k SPS I am on the road!

Tournament thoughts

In my opinion, this ecosystem is just fantastic. We fight against players all over the world, I am building an NFT collection that will work in several ways, and all of us are given opportunities to try our best day by day. Tournaments are a great chance:

Tournaments are a fantastic opportunity to fight against the best. There are several times that you find yourself fighting against Yodin or Kitty, but other times, great players play the same cards better than you. And you've got to learn from them. Don't waste a tournament to face them if you want to be one of the best one day.

Finally and not less important, although finishing 72nd in my last tournament was not a fantastic mark. I was awarded 35 juicy SPS. The cards that I rent to rank up in the modern league and used to help my guild in brawls are also used to earn me an extra income. So simple so true!

Amazing battle #1 Chaos Legion for the win

For the first duel, I faced a 59 mana no melee. I love this kind of game and I love one of the best pulls I have ever got in a Champion chest - 3 Gold foil Iziar that brought her directly to level 3. Can't imagine how much will Iziar cost when she will be unsoulbounded. I faced an always-tough Jacek and the board looked as follows:

• I generally choose Void Dragon for my front in this kind of battle (only improved in some battles by BaakJira). But Void Dragon played with the blind is a true headache to your opponents.
• In this kind of battle, I always play an Iziar close to Void Dragon. A void dragon boosted by the master is an authentic headache.
• Finally, I love the support wombo combo girls: Djinn Renova and Adelade. The first heal Iziar, and the second raises her generally for an extra martyr (not in this situation thanks to Jacek's scattershot). This one was too close and I leave you the entire battle here

Amazing battle #2 Tough duel vs Mylor

For the second duel, I faced 51-mana, Heavy hitters, even-stevens, and Stampede battle and the board looked as shown in the figure:

• If you dare place Arkemis the first, just make a plan for magic damage. My worst experiences playing him have been when I did not consider Magical damage as a serious menace. Artemis gets melted from Magic. I brought a couple of Silences (Elven Mystic and Prysmologist), that allowed my bear to resist.
• Dhampir Stalker is another fantastic reward creature out printed. We will see in some time her economic value. Her in-game value is remarkable. Double Strike, Cripple, and Affliction give her a fantastic toolkit that sometimes does not kill in a round but debuffs enemy focus (specially big-tank taunters). I've been successful playing her.
• Another fantastic reward card that's played again and again is Venary Crystalsmith. Who does not like his tank being healed and also a nice raged damage with Dispel? That's Venari Crystalsmith on duty!
• Finally, we've got Chaos Dragon. This creature has brought me tons of victories in the field. Invaluable enemy blind, granting survivability to my team, scattershot ignoring taunts and blasting damage hitting different units. I leave you the entire battle here.

Can you imagine a better way of crossing over this horrible bear market than playing a wonderful game? I do recommend everyone following @thepeoplesguild and their podcast. In their last interview with Aggroed, he has got tons of plans to improve gaming, making the game more attractive to new players. Splinterlands is a pioneer in Web 3.0 in several ways.
