Introduction
This week's engagement post is all about the new Ambassador Program that Splinterlands has rolled out.
The program has been live for a few weeks now, and I have to say, it's a massive improvement! In the past, there wasn’t much incentive to refer new players, but this new system changes the game. Let me explain what the Ambassador Program is all about and why it’s such a great addition.
Where to Find Your Ambassador Status
To check out your Ambassador Status, head to your settings. Just click the settings icon in the top-right corner of the game, and you’ll see an overview of your Ambassador stats.
What Is the Ambassador Program?
The Ambassador Program is a way to reward players for referring new people to Splinterlands. It’s beneficial for both the new players and those making the referrals.
There are two tiers in the program: Silver and Gold. Here’s a breakdown of the benefits:
Silver Tier
- You and your friends each earn 500 Credits when they purchase a Spellbook.
- Earn 5% of your friends’ end-of-season Glint rewards.
This is already a win in my book! Not only do you get a share of Glint rewards (which can be spent in-game), but the new player also gets an extra 500 Credits on top of the 3,000 Credits they already receive when buying a Spellbook.
Gold Tier
To unlock Gold Tier, you need 10 referrals who have each made at least $100 in purchases (including primary, secondary, or rental markets).
Gold Tier perks include everything from Silver Tier, plus:
- Earn a 5% bonus on all packs your friends purchase.
- Earn 1% of your friends’ transactions on peer-to-peer markets.
How to Use It
On the Ambassador Status page, you’ll find your unique referral link. Share this link with friends, and when they use it to create an account, you’ll get credited for the referral.
When someone clicks your referral link, they’ll land on the Splinterlands account creation page with your referral code pre-filled:
As you can see, my current referral count is at 0. Let’s fix that! 😉
Leaderboard
One of the coolest features of this program is the leaderboard. It shows who has referred the most players, adding a fun layer of competition, especially for influencers. Are you ready to take the top spot?
The sheets have been cleared so all players, also the ones with many referrals, start over here is the current leaderboard:
Conclusion
As you can see, my referral count is still 0 (for now). If you found this post helpful and want to dive into Splinterlands, consider joining through my referral link:
