Introduction

Merry Christmas all 🎅

With this ability, a fallen unit gets a second chance, returning to the battlefield once. I especially love pairing Resurrect with Martyr—it’s a fantastic combo that boosts your allies twice, thanks to the resurrection. It’s a game-changing ability that can lead to some epic comebacks!

Ability

Resurrects an allied unit once per battle with 1 health and 100% armor. All magic debuffs are removed, and all magic buffs are reapplied. Resurrected units skip their turn.

Notes:

  • When a unit dies and is Resurrected, it does not attack during that round. It will attack in subsequent rounds.
  • You can stack your team with multiple Resurrecting units.
Units can not Resurrect themselves. That ability is reserved for units with Rebirth.
  • If an attack kills the target unit and an adjacent unit with blast damage, the adjacent unit will be Resurrected instead of the targeted unit even though it may have died first.
  • Resurrection will return to life Cleansed of negative status effects. It doesn't hurt to include a unit with Cleanse Rearguard on your team to keep your backline healthy!
  • Resurrected units that had abilities removed due to Expose will return to life with all abilities intact.
  • Soul Siphon takes priority over Resurrect - activating first.

As you can see this is a pretty rare ability.

Lets have a look on what my stats have to say about these units:

No 1 Card: Adelade Brightwing

As you see in my stat i often chose this unit. It does not have many health or attack points but the ability are so great that i use this unit very often.

Together Iziar it can be lethal combination.

Whe we have look at the specific data from my

Strategy

This time a high mana battle where the adjacent unit are protected by reflection shield so a nice opportunity for the Adelade Brightwing with Iziar.

Rulesets

Deflection Field:
All units will gain the reflection shield ability. This mean no return damage and also no damage from blast damage.

Stampede:
All units will gain the trample ability. After using a melee attack to defeat a unit, performs another melee attack against the unit in the next position.

Tis but Scratches:
All units will gain the cripple ability. -1 to target's max health after each successful attack. Does not affect units with Immunity.

The Lineup

Summoner

CardReason
Still going strong in most of my battle is lux currently for only 160$ is a really good deal imho for how versatile this summoner is. in this battle you can have all the extra health when all unit have cripple.

Monsters Lineup

#1#2#3#4#5#6

Inevitable (lvl 1)
Very strong tank unit in the front that has high health points. It will also heal my Iziar so even it is supposed to be killed, if it takes my opponent long todo that is in this case a good thing.

Adelade Brightwing (lvl 4)
Star of this battle and important for its resurrect. This way Iziar needs to be killed twice. Which lead into bossting adjacent units twice, because of Iziar martyr.
The repair will help Inevitable to be more resilience.

Venari Crystalsmith (lvl 8)
This unit will heal my tank Inevitable. It still does a decent damage of 3 damage.

Djinn Renova (lvl 6)
Made it in the team to be boosted by Iziar (twice) and heal it to keep Iziar longer alive.

Iziar (lvl 4)
Very important unit in this strategy because of the martyr in combination with the resurrected

Pelacor Arbalest (lvl 8)
Second unit that needs to be boosted twice, this unit can do 10 damage each round after the double boost.

Rounds

Start :

My opponent went with a Gladius strategy, and Katrelba Gobson is definitely one to watch out for—its Bloodlust ability can quickly become a problem. This is a clever counter against a Resurrect unit; if Katrelba lands the first strike to take out the unit, it can finish it off again after resurrection, gaining two Bloodlust boosts in a single turn.

That said, I believe my tank is sturdy enough to hold the front line for a few rounds. It’s shaping up to be an interesting battle, especially since my opponent’s lineup includes strong, fast units. With their solid speed, I’m not expecting many misses, so this will come down to precise strategy and execution.

Round 1:

image.png
It was great to see that my tank, Inevitable, is immune to the Halving ability of Arkemis the Bear—a definite advantage! However, my Iziar is already on the brink of being taken out after just one round, which feels a bit too fast for comfort. Thankfully, it managed to heal enough that Katrelba doesn’t get the chance to finish it off just yet. On the bright side, I’ve managed to eliminate my opponent’s taunt unit, giving me a small but important lead at this stage.

Round 2:

image.png
The one thing I didn’t want to happen did—Katrelba took out my Iziar twice, giving it a significant Bloodlust boost. On the bright side, my adjacent units also received double boosts from Martyr, so it’s not all bad news.

A big advantage now is that some of my opponent’s ranged units have moved to the front line, and not all of them can attack from the first position. Things are still looking good for me, as long as Katrelba doesn’t get any more boosts. Fortunately, I’ve brought a Dispel unit, which can strip Katrelba of all its boosted stats. If that happens, this match is as good as mine.

Round 3:

image.png
Katrelba managed to get another boost, which is definitely concerning. That said, my tank, Inevitable, is holding strong in the front line, doing exactly what it’s meant to do. If I can hold out for another round or two, my Dispel unit will finally be able to strip Katrelba of all those gained stats.

The match now hinges on one crucial moment—will Katrelba take out my Venari Crystalsmith first, or will I manage to Dispel Katrelba in time? It’s getting intense—let’s see how it unfolds!

Round 4:

image.png
As expected, Katrelba continues its rampage, taking out more units and boosting its stats even further. However, a critical moment turned in my favor—the star of this week’s lineup dealt 2 magic damage, completely bypassing the 9 armor of Clockwork Aide and leaving Katrelba exposed in the front line.

Even if Katrelba manages to take down my Inevitable, it won’t be enough once I dispel all its boosts. The tide is turning, and victory is within reach!

Round 5:

image.png
The first attack landed on Inevitable’s armor, which made things even easier for me to finish the match. And let me just say, dispelling Katrelba was incredibly satisfying to watch—it completely neutralized all those hard-earned boosts! With that, the match is over. Victory is mine!
