RE: Let's Make Darth Squirrel A Playable Character (And Get Yourself Some Discounted Packs!)

Dude, I enjoy your content, but I don't think this math really adds up...

The cost of purchasing 2000 packs will be $8000USD.
30% (20% bonus packs, 10% cheaper with SPS) of $8000 is $2400... but you're selling the $4 packs for $3 so that's 25% which is $2000.

You'd be making an extra $400 per 2000 packs plus you'd keep any additional promo cards you receive (outside of the guaranteed), the staking rewards, the glory of your character being made into a card and you'd have an absolutely massive chance of receiving bonus copies of the 14 airdropped cards.

Are you buying the required vouchers or would you expect the donors to purchase the vouchers for you?

You are doing the math wrong. It's not a 30% discount. It's a 10% discount and 20% bonus packs. So if you buy 2000 packs you get 400 extra packs and it costs $7200. $7200/2400 packs = $3 per pack.

The vouchers will be supplied by the buyers or purchased using currency provided by the buyers. This is intended to be net neutral for me in terms of pack costs. Yes, I will get some extra promo cards, but it won't be worth near the time and effort that will go into organizing this and distributing all these packs and airdropped cards. And for buyers, the 20% savings will be worth way more than the chance at an airdropped card.

This is me going all out in order to try and get Darth Squirrel into the game. It's going to be an absolute headache, but I still want to do it. Just answering questions alone is going to eat hours of my time.
