Splinterlands Battle | The Vigilator.
Welcome to my blog where I'll share my winning battle with The Vigilator.
Edited with PixelLab.
The Vigilator(Legendary Dragon Monster).
Vigilators are arthropods that live just beneath the surface of the Sands in Draykh-Nahka. When prey wanders above one, a Vigilator is able to cause a controlled cave-in of the surrounding sand. It then quickly consumes its prey, using its multiple pincers and gnashing tooth-blades. No Vigilator has ever been recovered from the sand, so ideas of what they look like are mostly guesses. Lore.
It's an amazing monster that has a double attack that can be used at any position you wish. For splinterlands, this is a fantastic monster with a double attack. I've learned that it's best to use it in the second position as it has both ranged and melee attacks. From the second position, it can attack with a ranged attack and if the front monster dies then this monster can come to the front and attack with melee but I've used this monster on the battlefield at the 3rd position as I've used another monster with the "Reach" ability at the 2nd position.
A Brief Info About The Battle
The battle mana cap was 20 with the "Standard" rule where I've used the dragon splinter and my opponent used the fire splinter against me.
My Lineup.
After selecting Kretch Tallevor as the summoner, I had Djinn Chwala with 2 melee attacks & the "Thorns" ability at the 1st position, The Vigilator with a ranged attack, 2 melee attacks & the "Double Strike" ability at the 2nd position and Furious Chicken at the last position.
And my opponent had his/her cards as Xenith Monk with 1 melee attack at the 1st position, Radiated Brute with 2 melee attacks & the "Reach" ability at the 2nd position, Tenyii Striker with 2 melee attacks & the "Sneak" ability at the 3rd position and Xenith Archer with 1 ranged attack at the last position.
No 01: Djinn Chwala EPIC Dragon Monster
This is a dragon monster with big shields and health. I guess, this monster uses the big weapon that's in the right hand as the shield and that's why it gets the big shield. It's a melee monster that offers the "Thorns" ability from the very beginning level which makes it more powerful, I believe. With big mana like 8, this monster is a good fit in the big mana ruleset.
I've used Djinn Chwala in level 1 with 2 melee attacks, 2 speed,52 shields, 9 health with the "Thorns" ability and it needs 8 mana.

It's an amazing monster that has a double attack that can be used at any position you wish. For splinterlands, this is a fantastic monster with a double attack. I've used The Vigilator in level 1 which offers me 1 melee attack, 2 ranged attacks, 4 speed & 8 health with "Double Strike" ability and it needs 9 mana to play.

No 03: Furious Chicken (Rare Neutral Monster)
This is the card that I use when there's a slot left but no mana left. I mean its service is great for free I suppose. Right now... I can't imagine playing a match without this card.
It's like the chicken that lays the golden egg. It provides great support with its counterattack. With 0 mana... it's just amazing.
My Furious Chicken is in level 1 with 1 speed, 1 health and It needs 0 mana to play.

My summoner Kretch Tallevor didn't offer any special buff to my monsters, and for the special buff of my opponent's summoner, all the opponent's monsters got +1 health each and 3 opponent monsters got +1 melee attack each.
Then... for being the most speed holder, my Vigilator started the battle with the double attack and killed a total of 2 health of the opponent's Xenith Monk. Then the opponent's Xenith Monk attacked and destroyed 2 shields of my Djinn Chwala and the opponent team lost 2 health as well for the "Thorns" of my Djinn Chwala. Then my Djinn Chwala attacked and killed 2 more health of the opponent's Xenith Monk. Then the opponent's Tenyii Striker attacked and grilled my chicken. Then the opponent's Xenith Archer attacked and destroyed 1 shield of my Djinn Chwala. And then the opponent's Radiated Brute attacked my Djinn Chwala but missed the target.
There came a new round where my Vigilator first attacked and killed the opponent's Xenith Monk for good and the opponent's Radiated Brute came forward to the first position. Then my Vigilator attacked and killed 1 health of the opponent's Radiated Brute as well. Then my Djinn Chwala attacked and killed 2 health of the opponent's Radiated Brute. And then the opponent's Tenyii Striker attacked and killed 3 health of my Vigilator. Then the opponent's Xenith Archer attacked and destroyed 1 more shield of my Djinn Chwala. Then the opponent's Radiated Brute attacked my Djinn Chwala but missed the target. There came another new round where my Vigilator double attacked and killed 2 health of the opponent's Radiated Brute. And then my Djinn Chwala attacked and killed the opponent's Radiated Brute for good and the opponent's Tenyii Striker came forward to the first position. Then the opponent's Tenyii Striker attacked and destroyed the remaining shield of my Djinn Chwala and my Djinn Chwala then killed 2 health of the opponnet's Tenyii Striker using "Thorns". Then the opponent's Xenith Archer attacked my Djinn Chwala but missed the target.
There came another round where my Vigilator double attacked and killed 2 health of the opponent's Tenyii Striker. Then my Djinn Chwala also attacked and killed 2 health of the opponent's Tenyii Striker out of 3. Then the opponent's Tenyii Striker attacked and killed 3 health of my Djinn Chwala and my Djinn Chwala then killed the opponent's Tenyii Striker for good using the "Thorns" and the opponent's last monster Xenith Archer came forward to the first position and became unable to attack for being a ranged attacker at the first position so now the victory is mine for sure. There came the final round where my Vigilator first double attacked and killed 2 health of the opponent's Xenith Archer out of 3. Then my Djinn Chwala threw 2 melee attacks towards the opponent monster and the opponent team had to leave the battlefield.
The battle finished in round 5 while my team had 2 monsters alive. All my monsters did great on the battlefield.
