Splinterlands Battle | Cursed Windeku.

Welcome to my blog where I'll share my winning battle with Cursed Windeku.

Cursed Windeku (RARE Death Monster).

Cursed Windeku are nightmarish creatures that live in the deepest and darkest woods. They hunt at night, stalking their prey before attacking with their claws, while their thorn-like horns and natural healing ability provide excellent defense. They exude a pungent pheromone that reduces the reaction time of their victims, often allowing the Windeku to begin devouring them before they are dead. While these lifeless creatures may appear animalistic, they are highly intelligent. They have heeded the call put forth by the Lord of Darkness. Their thirst for blood is now focused on the Chaos Legion. Lore.

A Brief Info About The Battle

The battle mana cap was 21 with the "Standard" rule where I've used the death splinter and my opponent also used the life splinter against me.

My Lineup.

After selecting Thaddius Brood as the summoner, I had Cursed Windeku with 2 melee attacks & the "Thorns" ability at the 1st position, Venari Bonesmith with a magic attack & the "Life Leech" ability at the 2nd position, Life Sapper with a magic attack and the "Life Leech" ability at the 3rd position, Darkest Mage with a magic attack at the 4th position, Xenith Archer with a ranged attack at the 5th position & Furious Chicken at the last position.

And my opponent had his/her cards as Gargoya Scrapper with a melee attack at the 1st position, Stitch Leech with 2 melee attacks & the "Snipe" ability at the 2nd position, Time Mage with a magic attack & the "Slow" ability at the 3rd position, Truthspeaker with the "Protect" ability at the 4th position, Herbalist with a ranged at the 5the position & Portal Spinner with 2 ranged attacks & the "Scattershot" ability at the last position.

Let me talk about monsters that I used in this battle.

No 01: Cursed Windeku (Rare Death Monster)

Cursed Windeku are nightmarish creatures that live in the deepest and darkest woods. They hunt at night, stalking their prey before attacking with their claws, while their thorn-like horns and natural healing ability provide excellent defense,. They exude a pungent pheromone that reduces the reaction time of their victims, often allowing the Windeku to begin devouring them before they are dead. While these lifeless creatures may appear animalistic, they are highly intelligent. They have heeded the call put forth by the Lord of Darkness. Their thirst for blood is now focused on the Chaos Legion... More.

I've used Cursed Windeku in level 1 with 2 melee attacks, 3 speed, 9 health with "Thorns" ability and it needs 6 mana.

No 02: Venari Bonesmith(RARE Death Monster)

Banished from below 4 of 5 - Over the past several decades, there has been a bitter feud between the venari people and the Dream Warden, who rules the Underworld realm. The Dream Warden collects the bodies and souls of dream criminals from all over the world, confining them in an elaborate prison of illusions that resembles a dream. When the Dream Warden’s territory became overfull of prisoners, he began expanding into the Strite and interfering with the daily lives of the venari. The venari are fighters and not the type to be bullied, so they resisted the loss of their valuable land.... Lore.

I used Venari Bonesmith in level 1 with 1 magic attack, 2 speeds, 3 health with the "Life Leech" ability and it needs 4 mana to play.

No 03: Life Sapper (RARE Death Monster)

Life sappers are in between life and death. One side of their body is ghostly while the other is alive and well. They are neither fully living nor dead. They feed off the energies around them, and simply being within view of a Life Sapper will make you feel sick and weak. They siphon energy from their victims, slowly weakening and sickening them while simultaneously healing themselves..... Lore.

I used Life Sapper in level 1 with 1 magic attack, 2 speeds, 2 health with the "Life Leech" ability and it needs 3 mana to play.

Nor 04: DARKEST MAGE (EPIC Death Monster)

This seems the Doctor Strange of splinterlands. I'm very very thankful to Gerber as he delegated me a Darkest Mage in level 6 and then I started using it and got to know its nice features although I'm using this monster in level 1 right now which I own myself. This magician is so cool that I wish to play every battle with him/her.

I've used Darkest Mage in level 1 with 1 magic attack, 2 speed & health and it needs ONLY 2 mana.

No 05: Xenith Archer (Rare Neutral Monster)

The Xenith Scale is devoted to enlightenment, knowledge, and the protection of others. Members among the order practice to remain balanced in all things and believe Mana, too, should remain balanced. It should not be used to cause chaos or disorder, nor should it be used to tip the scales of justice in either direction. The order believes in fate and that everything has its proper place. Fate and destiny are predetermined, and they should not be altered.... Lore.

I used my Xenith Archer in level 1 with 1 ranged attack, 1 speed, 2 health and it needs 2 mana for battle.

No 06: Furious Chicken (Rare Neutral Monster)

This is the card that I use when there's a slot left but no mana left. I mean its service is great for free I suppose. Right now... I can't imagine playing a match without this card.
It's like the chicken that lays the golden egg. It provides great support with its counterattack. With 0 mana... it's just amazing.

My Furious Chicken is in level 1 with 1 speed, 1 health and It needs 0 mana to play.

For the special buff of my summoner, all the opponent monsters lost 1 health each except the Truthspeaker and all the opponent's magic monsters with more than 1 magic attack should've lost 1 magic attack each but the opponent team had only one magic attacker and that too has only one magic attack. For the special buff of my opponent's summoner, all the opponent monsters got +1 health each except the Truthspeaker. Then for the special "Slow" ability of the opponent's Time Mage, 3 of my monsters lost 1 speed each. And for the special "Protect" ability of the opponent's Truthspeaker, all the opponent monsters got +2 shields each.

Then my Cursed Windeku attacked and destroyed the whole shield of the opponent's Gargoya Scrapper and the opponent's Gargoya Scrapper then attacked and killed 1 health of my Cursed Windeku and my Cursed Windeku then attacked and killed the opponent's Gargoya Scrapper for good with the "Thorns" and the opponent's Stitch Leech then came forward to the first position. Then my Darkest Mage and Venari Bonesmith one after another attacked and killed a total of 2 health of the opponent's Stitch Leech and my Venari Bonesmith got +1 health for having the "Life Leech" after the attack. Then my Xenith Archer attacked and destroyed 1 shield of the opponent's Stitch Leech. Then the opponent's Herbalist attacked and killed 1 health of my Cursed Windeku. And then the opponent's Stitch Leech attacked for the first time and missed.

There came another round where my Cursed Windeku first attacked and destroyed the whole shield of the opponent's Truthspeaker and then my Darkest Mage attacked and killed that opponent monster for good and the opponent's Herbalist then came forward to the first position and became unable to attack for being a ranged attacker at the first position. And the opponent monsters lost the extra shield that they got for the special "Protect" ability of the opponent's Truthspeaker. Then my Venari Bonesmith attacked and killed 1 health of the opponent's Herbalist and my Venari Bonesmith got +1 health for having the "Life Leech" after the attack. Then my Darkest Mage and Venari Bonesmith one after another attacked and killed a total of 2 health of the opponent's Portal Spinner and my Venari Bonesmith got +1 health for having the "Life Leech" after the attack. The battle finished in round 6 while my team had 4 monsters alive. All my monsters did great on the battlefield.
