Low Mana Strategy Always Challenging

what's up Splinter Player around the world how are you doing? I want to share my battle using one of my own account that played in Diamond League Format.And this time, i want to share that i kinda loving low mana battle lately. The low mana battle need thinking and guessing how the opponent will try the strategy. And it kinda exciting to seen.

Ruleset

In this battle i am dealing with Even Stevens ruleset that will make both player just only can using even manacost monster Summoner are not included.

The second ruleset is Holy Protection that will make all monster have holy shield ability that can immune to one damage all type and not getting any damage.

The last but not least is Briar Patch this ruleset is kinda make my strategy perfect especially in low mana cap battle. This ruleset will make back damage to melee monster after hitting monster.

Strategy Phase

In this battle in am using some good monster that can connect with my strategy in this ruleset.
And here my rooster in my line up.

The first one i need defender in my line up and thats is Naga Assassin this monster is really strong for my opinion especially that only cost 2 manacap. With high speed combined with Backfire ability. That kinda pretty good combination for defense. Also the other ability is swiftness that will make this monster automatically having 7 speed. And 7 speed is really fast. That will make this monster will have higher chance to dodge any melee or range attack. But, this monster have weakness. That is when encounter with magic type attack monster.

So, lately many strategy depending on Grimbandun Smith. So, it forcing many player using scattershot ability monster into battlefield and that kinda make a new meta. Like in this battle i am bringing scattershot ability monster too. That is Acid Shooter. This monster also just costing 2 manacap with pretty good combination ability. Besides Scattershot ability. This monster also having cripple ability. Yeah cripple ability is not too functional for scattershot ability monster. Since it need to attack continously to one target to make the cripple works. But, the last ability is the important one that is poison ability. This ability will make the attack of this monster having chance to give poison effect to opponent that will make opponent losing 2 health every turn. Thats why this monster kinda OP in low mana battle. And if the poison ability hit to opponent monster that have very low health, it will make instantly death in the next turn.

For the main character in my strategy i am using Vruz. This batte having Briar Patch ruleset remember. That will give back damage to melee monster after hitting the opponent right. Thats why i am using this monster into this battle. First this monster having 7 speed that really really high especially with just 2 manacap monster. Also this monster having true strike ability. So , this monster will never miss attacking opponent. And this monster always hit the backline first because of sneak ability. And what the really good point for this monster that is this monster having Martyr ability that will give adjacent unit buff stats. Thats why in this battle this monster is really helpfull.

Of course i need to bring Doctor Blight in order to make my strategy complete. This OP monster is really needed in splinterland Universe. Even though not always win but maybe around 60-70% battle using Doctor Blight can winning the battle. Especially with complex ability like that. Cannot be hit unless in the frontline due the Camouflage ability. Also this monster can gives 2 effect to opponent when hit that is affliction that will make opponent cannot be healed and poison ability that can gives poison status that gives 2 damage each turn. Also this monster have scavenger ability that can adding maximum health after any monster die. And the last is weakness ability that can reduce opponent maximum health as long as this monster alive. And i said that many monster with high speed in low mana cost monster dont have any phase ability that can dodge magic type attack. Thats why i bringing this monster in this battlefield.

Battlephase

This time i am encountered with player that from Iron Faith and i know this player. having encountered sometimes with this player. This player is strong but i dont like his guild. I suspecting that many player in his guild is cheater. But i dont know very well. Maybe i am the looser one.

And in this battle as you can see the picture above,having 3 ruleset. The first ruleset is Even Stevens that meeans both player can only using Even manacost in this battle. The second ruleset is Holy Protection that means all monster will have divine shield ability. And the last but not least is Briar Patch that means all monster will have thorns ability. Manacap that can be used in this battle is 18 which is including in low manacap battle. And the element that can be used in this battle is just Earth and Dragon element. Thats why i am using Dragon Element this time and the opponent having same mind with me also.

• Naga Assassin as Second Tanker
• Acid Shooter as Attacker
• Vruz as Backline Attacker
• Doctor Blight as Attacker

Opponent Line Up

• Quix The Devious as Summoner
• Xenith Monk as Frontline Tanker
• Venator Kinjo as Second Tanker Debuff
• Fungus Fiend as Debuff Filler
• Goblin Psychic as Support
• Acid Shooter as Attacker

Both player have similar strategy with using Acid Shooter as hope for hitting the right opponent. And what makes different that opponent buffing the effect of thorns ability using Venator Kinjo that have amplify ability. And opponent bringing Goblin Psychic to make my Magic type attack got debuffed. And yeah the only that not debuffed is just melee attack which is got thorns damage from the ruleset. The opponent really strong in this battle with great strategy that cover all type attack got debuffed. Meanwhile my strategy just random. But i am really think that i just depending on Blight for the affliction and poison also for Acid Shooter gives poison status to opponent monster.

And the summary of this battle is i won this battle. Yeah my strategy that gives up the Vruz and gives martyr effect to my Doctor Blight and Acid Shooter is kinda effective. But, what i am expecting is not functional at all. You can see in this battle that both my Acid Shooter and Doctor Blight did not gives any poison and affliction as well. Thats why i hate the RNG games. Like this game that makes me still suspecting all player in Iron Faith guild using cheats. How can be my effect did not show up in this battle. Meanwhile opponent can gives poison effect with just one try. Yeah the counter argument always said thats luck and RNG. Yeah no one can even counter that argument about luck and RNG. Always. Because it cannot be proven at all.

Conclution

So, after experiencing this battle i can said that martyr ability monster in low manacap battle is kinda make the normal monster can be Overpowered monster. Especially in low manacap battle. Because with low manacap both player can only bring the weak monster that really depending on ability that they have right. So, if you can gives adjacent units that get buffed, it will make your team strategy will increasingly strong.
