I think it really depends on the deck/player. For new players survival and wild are not really viable options. With a bot playing for me I won 14 rounds out of 75 last season and got less then 1 sps.
In the last brawl I got 27 sps, which with my average win of sps in modern is the same I would get from around 40-50 wins. Pretty good for lining up a few matches.
That said, there does seem to be a bit of an issues with brawls as it's often the case that less than half the people don't show up. In the last brawl I was in I had 3 of 7 show up. In one brawl I had only one opponent show up.
I think Splinterlands does have an issue with retention like many games do. People get bored, or frustrated because they hit a plateau that they can't beat without spending significant amounts on improving their deck or life changes and it just loses priority.
It'd be cool if they added some kind of PvE elements to guilds similar to the fight against the troll in the campaign. I also think we need some new gladiators.
What do you think would make Guilds more interesting?
Thank you for your elaborated reply. Yes for smaller accounts brawl are a good way to earn SPS, this is still true. I play this game quite a while and had a lot of struggles but now i am on the highest tier and this is what the post is mostly about.
So for you question what could be done to make guild more interesting, i like your PvE idea. But it should be something which enforces people to join forces of course not in real time, but with a time span.
And finally we need a new gladiator set a some point. And when i arrives old gladiator cards should be unbounded (just my humble opinion).

oooh thank you for the SBI :)
I agree with unbinding the old gladiators but still keeping em behind the gladiator ruleset(or the right summoner in wild). Maybe then I'd finnally get my hands on Quora.
Keeping folks at the top happy is a struggle for any game. Splinterlands has Wild and Survival for those who want something beyond what Modern offers(and frontier if they really want it)
But yeah Brawls are not keeping folks interested as seen by the poor attendance.
