<3 thanks hewitt. Appreciate the opinion. This indeed does not affect higher level bots. But it does solve many underlying issues at the lower league.
What would happen once soul bound is unlocked? It will become another dumping ground of reward cards again. History will repeat itself, but all at once even if it cost dec to unlock. It'll be sold for dec + small traces of profit. Ideally some sort of solution must be set once they are unlockable. I cant possibly imagine what disaster entails without any boundaries(besides paying dec to unlock) put into place for these sb reward cards.
Well I dont think the dump will be as bad as you think. The higher lvl bots will actually use and lvl up the soulbound cards because it will lower their overall rental expenses. I dont think you will have accounts just saving up hundreds of thousands in CP reward cards just to sell in 2 years but I may be wrong.
Regardless something needs to be done about the rental market, nowhere on earth can you rent 5k worth of an asset for a dollar a day. Idk if that means we super over value our cards or we just have crazy circumstances but it would be like renting a car for 5 bucks a day.
in order to have demand, we need player retention. how many new players will actually convert to being daily players/prospective investor if after a handful of games and inability to win, they quit. i have recruited a handful of new players in which they quit after few matches. retention rate of new players needs to have a higher percentage xD
I completely agree and have had the same experience with my friends. I know tons of gamers but they only hate 1 thing more than nfts, cheaters. Ive often wondered why Hive isnt bigger because of how great and easy to use it is but im starting to think maybe folks avoid it and avoid building on it because they know it will become a bot infested nightmare. Its gotta also look fishy when we are at the top of the dapp leaderboards in transactions and "users" but have almost no volume compared to the other top projects.
i've always wonder why hive isnt more well known as well xD
