My Lineup
Here is my lineup for the battle
Position | Summoner/Monsters | Abilities |
---|---|---|
Summoner | Keyla Frendul | +1 Speed, +1 Shield |
Position 1 | Serpent of Eld | Dodge |
Position 2 | Deeplurker | Opportunity |
Position 3 | Angelic Mandarin | No Ability |
Position 4 | Kulu Swimhunter | No Ability |
Position 5 | Tower Griffin | Flying |
The ruleset was standard with all splinters allowed and the battle was a 28 mana battle that helped me choose my cards with greater freedom. My summoner was Keyla Frendul that gave my monsters an extra speed and shield.
Serpent of Eld was my choice for the first monsters as it has a nice shield and good speed. This unit came with dodge ability making it more difficult to attack. So, it was a perfect choice for my tank and I could afford it because of the 28 mana that I was given else I would have not gone with this tank and have chosen a less expensive one.
Next, I placed a good attacking monster called Deeplurker. I love this card for its heavy attacks and cause I can place it anywhere in the lineup because of its opportunity ability. And it attack weakest monsters too. So, was a really great card to be in any lineup.
I used the Angelic Mandarin as a ranged monster along with two others. I wanted to go for a triple snipe attack lineup.
Going through that strategy, I placed the Kulu Swimhunter in the 4th position. I knew that if my tank could hold on to for a little bit then, the sniping monsters can deal a lot of damage from the last three positions.
Lastly, I placed Tower Griffin. It comes with a nice flying ability improving the chances to evade attacks. It has a decent speed too.
After the lineup, it was the time for battle.
Did your strategy work? What will you try differently next time?
Yes, my strategy of using strong Tanks at the start and using the strategy of triple sniping worked. The summoner helped in this too.
Do you like the Kulu Swimhunter? Why or why not?
Yes, I like the Kulu Swimhunter in battles with large mana available to spare. It does have a very specific use case for me. I don't use it in most battles.
