Stephanie, es una joven dulce y carismática que ha tenido una infancia algo complicada, sin embargo, ella se mantiene en ese núcleo familiar tan inestable, por su fragilidad y corta experiencia en la sociedad. A la edad de 15 años Stephanie, se escapa de su casa donde vivía con su madre y padrastro, ellos eran unos viciosos que se la pasaban de borrachera en borrachera y consumían cualquier tipo de sustancias alucinógenas.

Ella estaba llorando desconsolada y muy asustada, mientras que su madre solo le dijo que se diera un baño y aprendiera a defenderse en la vida que ella no sería eterna y la podría ayudar en otros momentos.

Stephanie estaba muy asustada y conmovida a la vez por lo que acababa de suceder, no podía creer que su madre no fuera a tomar acciones legales contra aquel hombre que casi le roba su inocencia y por el contrario decidiera continuar con su vida normal de fiesta en fiesta y lo que era algo increíble es que con todo lo que aconteció continuara invitando a ese hombre a su casa.

Esto sin duda fue motivo suficiente para que ella se determinara a dejar su timidez e inseguridades y abandonara aquel hogar que entre borracheras y vicios la había acobijado hasta los 15 años y se adentrara a un nuevo mundo inhóspito y totalmente desconocido para ella.

Un día simplemente salió de su casa a la escuela y nadie volvió a saber más nada de ella, su madre ni siquiera se preocupó en buscarla, solo decía que debía estar perdida con un noviecillo por allí y que luego volvería como si nada. Así pasaron varias semanas y algunos meses más, hasta que simplemente tenía como pensamiento que aquella joven era una mal agradecida que se fue con el novio y se olvidó de su madre.

Mientras tanto Stephanie estaba por las calles de esa gran ciudad pasando muchas calamidades, en ocasiones pasaba días enteros sin comer, llego por varios momentos extrañar a su casa, pues allí bien o mal tenía sus alimentos, pero el simple recuerdo de aquel hombre que casi le desgracia la vida, la hacía recapacitar y volverse más fuerte y determinante a continuar con esta nueva vida.

Un día mientras divagaba por las calles un buen hombre decide acercarse y brindarle algo de comer, ella con algo de temor no quería aceptarlo, pero la necesidad termino por vencer aquel miedo y termino por aceptar aquellos alimentos que para ella en esos momentos fueron como la gloria.

Este mismo hombre siente compasión por ella y decide brindarle un hogar cálido para que pueda descansar y poder tener un techo donde dormir, Stephanie con algo de desconfianza termina por aceptarlo y le comenta como ha sido su historia de vida y en medio de su confesión aquel hombre logra vislumbrar cierto grado de rencor y molestia hacia sus padres, por no haber actuado ante lo que a ella le había sucedido.

Así continua transcurriendo los años y con el tiempo en vez de sanar ese rencor y dolor que sentía Stephanie hacia sus familiares, se fue volviendo cada vez más fuertes, ella encuentra un trabajo y decide formarse en el arte de las defensas personales y de esta manera poder ayudar a otras personas que han pasado por situaciones similares a la de ella y en cada momento que podía les comentaba su historia con lágrimas y resentimientos, que en vez de ir desvaneciéndose con el tiempo se hicieron cada vez más y más grande.

Esto era su impulso y motor de vida, les comentaba como ella era una niña tímida que no conocía el mundo y que por el ataque fallido que tuvo durante su infancia había tenido que dejar su hogar y pasar por miles de obstáculos, pero lo único que la mantuvo fuerte, eran las palabras de aquella mujer que la había engendrado y que en su debido momento le dijo que debía aprender a defenderse por sus propios medios y era justamente ello lo que la había orientado hacer quien es hoy en día.

Este era su discurso al inicio de cada nuevo curso, hasta que un día una joven llamada Carla al escuchar su relato lloro y al final de la clase, se le acercó y le dijo que sentía que su corazón estaba invadido por el rencor y que aun cuando ese mismo dolor le ha fortalecido a lo largo de su camino, también está siendo una piedra de tropiezo para que ella sea completamente feliz, que debía perdonar y sanar esa herida del corazón por lo que había pasado y darle paso a una vida libre del rencor.

Estas sabias palabras llegaron a curar esas heridas en el corazón de Stephanie quien había forjado su vida en una gran roca de resentimientos hacia su madre y no le permitía continuar con una vida libre.

Después de ello Stephanie volvió a su antigua casa y encontró a su madre en cama y muy enferma, quien al verla de una vez le suplico perdón por sus acciones en el pasado, juntas lloraron y se liberaron de esos malos recuerdos que traían en su mente y actualmente viven juntas y tienen una vida renovada.

One day, as usual, they organized a party with people of the same habits, little Stephanie was in her room to avoid bumping into some of them. While she was sleeping one of her parents' friends came into the room and began to touch her inappropriately, she half asleep managed to wake up and began to scream.

But the music was loud and no one could hear her, this man held her hands and began to tear her clothes, she was very desperate and no matter how much she kept screaming no one could come to her aid and much less could she get this big man off her.

This same man feels compassion for her and decides to give her a warm home so that she can rest and have a roof to sleep under, Stephanie with some distrust ends up accepting him and tells him how her life story has been and in the middle of his confession the man manages to glimpse a certain degree of resentment and annoyance towards her parents, for not having acted before what had happened to her.

As the years went by, instead of healing the resentment and pain that Stephanie felt towards her family members, they became stronger and stronger, she found a job and decided to train in the art of personal defenses and in this way be able to help other people who have gone through similar situations to hers and whenever she could, she told them her story with tears and resentment, which instead of fading with time, became bigger and bigger.
