Love In Magic City || Amor en la ciudad mágica - Writing Club Contest

I can never find true love, not in this life, maybe in another life... Olivia thought in her heart.

She had never been lucky with love. Her first love left a mark in her heart after their breakup and she felt she was never going to love again until she found Ronald. A month later, he turned out to be another frog and not her Prince charming.

Even though Olivia was the busy office girl, she always turned up for her childhood friend, Fred who was also very unlucky with love. They would chat at length on how badly love has dealt with them. They had never felt they were a match to love each other romantically so it never got to them to take their friendship farther and those two had more quarrels than happy times as friends.

Olivia and Fred kept living a love - hate relationship as childhood friends, trying to be there for each other and helping each other get over one's hurt... Until they both woke in a huge different city. There was a big bill board that revealed where they were immediately "Magic City".

Where could this be? Olivia tried to speak but she realized that Fred could not hear her even though he was close. At the same time, Fred asked a question and realized that Olivia was deaf to his words. They both stood for some minutes in awe and a little disappointed.

They decided to walk around and find a way out of the so called magic city. The place was so beautiful, the streets walkways were made of love shaped diamonds and every tree had beautiful leaves of love letters... They felt waves of love from every breeze and it made their walk lonely as they thought they needed someone who loves them to enjoy the feeling they were having.

It hardly dawned on them that they were together and could find a way to love each other because they had accepted their relationship to be just a simple childhood love and hate relationship.

They both got to a huge castle in the city, it had huge frames of them on the walls and before they could get surprised by that, they saw themselves walk out of a room together laughing happily with each other as they were about to eat dinner.

How is this even possible? I am her husband in this huge castle? Fred said within him and he got a reply almost immediately... You're in magic city, everything is possible here.

Olivia was dumbfounded because she found it hard to believe what she was seeing that she couldn't even ask questions.

As the two were about leaving the castle, their look alike said to themselves.

I remember when we were both so arrogant to the fact that we could be happy with each other but we focused on getting hurt over and over again by others who never loved us a bit close to the way we love each other now.

They both turned to each other trying to grasp the situation at hand... Are we being shown our future? Olivia thought and a voice came in which the two were able to hear.

You both craved for love, you slept with hurt from another failed love and we thought we could help you see what you two can be if you will accept those lingering feelings you both have for each other.

Those two in the huge castle are what you two will become if you would accept your feelings and love each other more by focusing on yourselves... The voice said.

Olivia and Fred looked at each other and decided to confess their feelings to each other, they thought they were doing a great job in keeping it a secret but magic found out and revealed it. They tried to say the word "I love you" almost together and they heard themselves.

The magic city vanished and they were both in a beautiful garden hugging and feeling happy about themselves, they promised to love each other till the end.

Amor En La Ciudad Mágica

Nunca podré encontrar el amor verdadero, no en esta vida, tal vez en otra vida... Olivia pensó en su corazón.

Nunca había tenido suerte con el amor. Su primer amor dejó una huella en su corazón después de su ruptura y sintió que nunca más volvería a amar hasta que encontró a Ronald. Un mes después, resultó ser otra rana y no su príncipe azul.

A pesar de que Olivia era la chica de oficina ocupada, siempre buscaba a su amigo de la infancia, Fred, quien también tuvo muy mala suerte con el amor. Charlarían largo y tendido sobre lo mal que los ha tratado el amor. Nunca habían sentido que fueran compatibles para amarse románticamente, por lo que nunca se les ocurrió llevar su amistad más lejos y esos dos tuvieron más peleas que momentos felices como amigos.

Olivia y Fred siguieron viviendo una relación de amor y odio como amigos de la infancia, tratando de estar ahí el uno para el otro y ayudándose el uno al otro a superar sus heridas... Hasta que ambos despertaron en una ciudad muy diferente. Había un gran cartel que revelaba dónde estaban inmediatamente "Ciudad Mágica".

¿Dónde podría ser esto? Olivia trató de hablar pero se dio cuenta de que Fred no podía escucharla a pesar de que estaba cerca. Al mismo tiempo, Fred hizo una pregunta y se dio cuenta de que Olivia estaba sorda a sus palabras. Ambos se quedaron unos minutos asombrados y un poco desilusionados.

Decidieron caminar y encontrar una salida de la llamada ciudad mágica. El lugar era tan hermoso, los pasillos de las calles estaban hechos de diamantes en forma de amor y cada árbol tenía hermosas hojas de cartas de amor... Sintieron olas de amor de cada brisa y eso hizo que su caminar fuera solitario porque pensaron que necesitaban a alguien que los amara. para disfrutar de la sensación que estaban teniendo.

Apenas se dieron cuenta de que estaban juntos y podían encontrar una manera de amarse porque habían aceptado que su relación era solo una simple relación de amor y odio infantil.

Ambos llegaron a un enorme castillo en la ciudad, tenía enormes marcos de ellos en las paredes y antes de que pudieran sorprenderse por eso, se vieron saliendo juntos de una habitación riéndose felices el uno con el otro cuando estaban a punto de cenar.

Como es esto posible? ¿Soy su esposo en este enorme castillo? Dijo Fred en su interior y obtuvo una respuesta casi de inmediato... Estás en la ciudad mágica, aquí todo es posible.

Olivia estaba estupefacta porque le costaba creer lo que estaba viendo que ni siquiera podía hacer preguntas.

Cuando los dos estaban a punto de salir del castillo, se dijeron a sí mismos.

Recuerdo cuando ambos éramos tan arrogantes por el hecho de que podíamos ser felices el uno con el otro, pero nos enfocábamos en ser lastimados una y otra vez por otros que nunca nos amaron ni un poco de la forma en que nos amamos ahora.

Ambos se miraron el uno al otro tratando de comprender la situación en cuestión... ¿Se nos muestra nuestro futuro? Olivia pensó y entró una voz que los dos pudieron oír.

Ambos anhelaban el amor, se acostaron con el dolor de otro amor fallido y pensamos que podríamos ayudarlos a ver lo que ustedes dos pueden ser si aceptan esos sentimientos persistentes que ambos tienen el uno por el otro.

Esos dos en el enorme castillo son en lo que ustedes dos se convertirán si aceptan sus sentimientos y se aman más enfocándose en ustedes mismos... Dijo la voz.

Olivia y Fred se miraron y decidieron confesarse sus sentimientos, pensaron que estaban haciendo un gran trabajo al mantenerlo en secreto, pero la magia lo descubrió y lo reveló. Intentaron decir la palabra "te amo" casi juntos y se escucharon.

La ciudad mágica se desvaneció y ambos se encontraban en un hermoso jardín abrazados y felices consigo mismos, prometieron amarse hasta el final.
