We first met on the day she came to my house to work as a maid and that was the day I fell in love with her. At first, I was too harsh on her because I never wanted a maid but my Mom wouldn't listen to me, she said I need someone to help me in my present condition that's why she hired her as my maid.

Jeff is a very strong young guy who always wanted to live a good life, he bases in America and that's where he works he came down to Nigeria to visit his parents but had a car accident on his way back home. It was a terrible accident that got him crippled so that's why his mom hired Mandy as his maid.

Mandy came from a very poor home she is well mannered and respectful she was very happy when she got the job as a maid at least she can help with THEIR family problems from the money
She was getting from her new job as a maid but her problem was that her boss don't like her right from the first day she stepped her foot into his house.

She never quit the job because, despite the way her boss use to treat her, she believes his boss is a nice person and that he liked that because of his current situation, she stood her ground and promised she will help her boss out in his condition. Even though he always shouts out here for no reason but she never left rather she always does her best to make him happy.

She was passing through all those hard time in her boss's hands until one day she decided to talk to him, she told him that she clearly understands how he feels especially in this condition but he shouldn't use it to push those that truly cares for him away, her talk and advice got to him and he decided to share why he's behaving like that all of a sudden.

Jeff said that he is not putting all those attitudes for a purpose and that he is depressed, he was a strong man living the life he always wanted, and all of a sudden he is in a wheelchair being pampered like a baby, he said the worst is that he can't do anything for himself all his friends left him including his girlfriend that the whole situation got him depressed, he said he just wish that one day he will sleep and never wake up.

Mandy immediately forbids that, she made him understand that no condition is permanent and that it's just a matter of time before everything will go back to normal, from that day they became friends, she always takes him out for a walk in his wheelchair, both of them became close friends.

From being friends Jeff finally got the courage to express his feelings to Mandy, so one day Mandy came to their house, as usual, to do her job just when she was about to leave Jeff called her back and told her about his feelings towards her Jeff didn't know that Mandy also has the same feeling for him too just when he finished telling her about his feelings towards her Mandy also told him how she also felt about him, then the two lovers hugged and kissed each other.

One month later Jeff proposed to Mandy for her to be his wife and this is how it goes, **Mandy I know is still early for me to do this but the very first day you walked through my door to work for me as my maid that was the day I fell deeply in love with you and it will be my pleasure to spend the rest of my life with you, even though I don't know how long I have to spend again in this life but I wish to spend the remaining days with you, please will you marry me.

Mandy out of excitement and short of words said yes that she will marry him, Jeff was very happy he felt like a full man that very day they both were happy.

A few months after the proposal Jeff fall sick, his mom went to his room just to inform him that she is leaving for work and on her getting there she saw Jeff laying lifelessly on his bed, she picked up her phone and called his doctor when the doctor got there he found out that Jeff is already having short breath so they quickly rushed him to the hospital, he was put in oxygen for one hour but he couldn't make it. His mom was shocked she didn't know what to say when Mandy came to his house she saw Jeff's Mom crying, she rushed to Jeff's room but couldn't find him there, so she came back and asked the mom where Jeff is that's when she told her how they lost him Mandy cried and cried, why is the world so wicked just the time I thought I have found my soulmate and now Death has taken him away from me she was depressed and didn't know what to do.

Life is not always the way we want it to be let's try to cherish and enjoy every moment of our life.
