There are certain scenes I could stare at for hours; once a body of water is involved, I find it almost hypnotic to look at over a still landscape where only the water and the clouds seem to move. I think once I am out in the wilderness like this, my need to capture the beauty all around me consumes me. No matter what the weather or conditions, I always want to capture it; in fact, the more dramatic the weather, the better it is. Worth being a bit chilly or uncomfortable for a bit to catch views like this.
