Hello visual friends of #Hive!... I invite you to see this new edition of my street photography series!... Today I have to share with you my vision of what happens in my town's streets in colour as well in black and white. Recently I'm making an effort to think ‘a bit more than usual’ in colour, as I find that there are moments when I can use the natural street chromaticism as an additional element to transmit my message through my photos... So, some of these photos are part of this ‘exercise with colours’ that I find myself carrying out...

¡Hola amigos visuales de #Hive!... ¡Les invito a ver esta nueva edición de mis series de fotografías callejeras!... Hoy tengo para compartir con ustedes mi visión de lo que ocurre en las calles de mi pueblo tanto en color como otras en blanco y negro. Recientemente estoy haciendo cierto esfuerzo por pensar "un poco más de lo habitual" en colores, pues me parece que hay momentos en los que puedo usar el cromatismo natural de las calles como un elemento adicional para transmitir mi mensaje a través de mis fotos... Entonces, algunas de estas fotos son parte de ese "ejercicio con colores" que me encuentro llevando a cabo...

I take photos because they make me think.... This is in a way my ‘daily therapy’... My ‘necessary catharsis’... When I take a photo, I start to edit it in my head even if I'm still wandering the streets... There is something of ‘immaculate and desired bohemia’ in this thing I do... I think that if I were to die and become incarnate again, I would take photos again and maybe I would do it in these same strange streets, in this same lost town that shrinks and compresses day by day without backing down...

Yo hago fotos porque estas me hacen pensar... Esta es de alguna manera mi "terapia cotidiana"... Mi "necesaria catarsis"... Cuando hago una foto, comienzo a editarla en mi cabeza aunque siga deambulando por las calles... Hay algo de "bohemia inmaculada y deseada" en esto que hago... Creo que si muriese y volviese a encarnarme, volvería a hacer fotos y quizás lo haría en estas mismas calles extrañas, de este mismo pueblo perdido que se reduce y comprime día a día sin reverso...

ADDITIONAL TECHNICAL NOTE: Photographs captured with my Nikon D7000 DSLR camera in RAW format, then processed in Adobe Camera RAW for adjustments regarding light, sharpening, contrast and depth... They were then exported to JGP format on which minor modifications such as straightening and adding watermarks were carried out using PhotoScape 3.6.3.

NOTA TÉCNICA ADICIONAL: Fotografías capturadas con mi cámara DSLR Nikon D7000 en formato RAW, procesadas posteriormente en Adobe Camera RAW para ajustes relativos a luz, afilado, contraste y profundidad... Luego fueron exportadas a formato JGP sobre el cual se llevaron a cabo modificaciones menores como enderezado y agregado de marcas de agua usando PhotoScape 3.6.3.
