Well, even though yesterday was the last day of the year and I had some personal commitments to fulfill, I still managed to dedicate a couple of hours to reviewing my files and processing some photos. I did this after taking a bath and while my wife and daughter prepared some dishes for New Year's Eve dinner... And I did manage to select some photos! I ended up creating a series of black and white street photographs, cropped in a 1:1 ratio, most of them with a dystopian touch, the kind I love to include in my photos. Bien, aún siendo ayer el ultimo día del año y teniendo que cumplir algunos compromisos personales relativos a la fecha, igual tuve la oportunidad de dedicarme un par de horas a revisar mis archivos y procesar algunas fotos. Hice esto después de darme un baño y mientras mi esposa y mi hija preparaban algunos platos para la cena de la ultima noche del año... ¡Y vaya que si pude seleccionar algunas fotos!... Terminé creando una serie de fotografías callejeras en blanco y negro, recortadas en proporción 1:1, y la mayoría de ellas con un toque distópico del tipo que tanto me gusta tener en mis fotos... Así que, por favor, continúen adelante en esta publicación la cual es la primera del 2026 en mi blog... Y "FELIZ AÑO NUEVO 2026" mis queridos amigos de #Hive ♦️!...
Many of these photos have been a real surprise to me, as I didn't remember taking them and realizing they were still lying unpublished in my files. Other photos were indeed in my memory, and I had been meaning to work on them so I could share them later. This always happens when I go through my archives. This time I only reviewed my November and December records, but I'll soon be reviewing even earlier months, as I'm sure I have a lot to find there...
Buena parte de estas fotos han sido verdaderas sorpresas para mi, pues no recordaba haberlas tomado y que estuvieran aún reposando inéditas en mis archivos. Otras de estas fotos sí que estaban en mi memoria y tenía como pendientes trabajar en ellas para poder compartirlas luego. Esto es algo que siempre me sucede cuando hago revisiones en mis archivos. Esta vez revisé apenas mis registros de Noviembre y Diciembre, pero prontamente estaré haciendo revisiones de meses anteriores incluso, pues estoy seguro que tengo mucho por encontrar allí...

ADDITIONAL TECHNICAL NOTE: Photographs captured with my Nikon D7000 DSLR camera in RAW format, then processed in Adobe Camera RAW for adjustments regarding light, sharpening, contrast and depth... They were then exported to JGP format on which minor modifications such as straightening and adding watermarks were carried out using PhotoScape v3.7
NOTA TÉCNICA ADICIONAL: Fotografias capturadas con mi cámara DSLR Nikon D7000 en formato RAW, procesadas posteriormente en Adobe Camera RAW para ajustes relativos a luz, afilado, contraste y profundidad... Luego fueron exportadas a formato JGP sobre el cual se llevaron a cabo modificaciones menores como enderezado y agregado de marcas de agua usando PhotoScape v3.7

I love to stop by on your first post of the year and admire your photographs where the fog in the distance is a distinctive feature that gives a personal touch to your work. Especially the fourth photo where the girl sitting on the pavement is reflected on the water, that's my favourite. But all of them in general are fantastic.
Many times we take a lot of pictures, we experience things and only after a while we realise that they are there, waiting for us to relive them, remember them, process them. What you do with photographs is part of real life, I always like to relate things. Thank you very much for your good work. I wish you very happy year 2026 and many successes!!!! Hugs!🎊
