Hello visual #Hive friends!... Welcome to a new edition of my monochrome photographs in nature filled country surrounders. My tendency to take these pictures is to look for the hidden details, the things that maybe someone else would overlook, but that for me are visions that oscillate between the abstract and the visually miraculous... Here in the countryside there is a lot of nature logically, but there are also human things present, which provide additional interest in some of the photographs... This is actually a delightful thing to do photographically speaking...

¡Hola amigos visuales en #Hive!... Bienvenidos a una nueva edición de mis fotografías monocromáticas en entornos campestres repletos de naturaleza. Mi tendencia para hacer estas fotos es buscar en los detalles ocultos, las cosas que quizás algún otra persona pasaría por alto, pero que para mi son visiones que oscilan entre lo abstracto y lo visualmente milagroso... Aquí en el campo hay mucha naturaleza lógicamente, pero también hay cosas humanas presentes, las cuales brindan interés adicional en algunas fotografías... En realidad esto es algo encantador de hacer fotográficamente hablando...

I've been using a versatile 55-300mm zoom lens a lot these days, it's a good lens, it's not too heavy despite its size and it does a good job of absorbing light and maintaining very decent sharpness at maximum apertures from f/5.6 to f/4... What's more, at 300mm it can generate deliciously out of focus backgrounds!... In fact, looking at the settings of these photos, I'm noticing that I have a marked tendency to use it at 300mm... I like the look of this thing geez...

Durante estos días he estado usando mucho un versátil objetivo zoom 55-300mm, es un buen lente, no es demasiado pesado a pesar de su tamaño y además hace un buen trabajo absorbiendo luz y manteniendo una nitidez muy decente en apertura máximas de f/5.6 a f/4... ¡Además, a 300mm puede generar fondos deliciosamente desenfocados!... De hecho, mirando los parámetros de estas fotos, me estoy percatando que tengo una marcada tendencia a usarlo en 300mm... Me gusta como luce esto caray...

My recipe ( in terms of parameters used in the camera) for a ‘photographically placid’ day in the countryside is quite basic: Always use RAW format, always shoot with full-frame exposure rated at +/-0. 0EV, use the semi-automatic aperture mode (P) and I will only worry about ISO and keep shutter speeds as high as possible, because shooting with the camera handheld and with 300mm focal length below 1/320s is not a good idea, not even when you have a stabilized lens like mine...

Mi receta (en lo relativo a parámetros usados en la cámara) para un día "fotográficamente plácido" en el campo es bastante básica: Usar siempre formato RAW, fotografiar siempre con exposición evaluada de fotograma completo en +/-0.0EV, usar el modo semi-automático de apertura (P) y yo me preocuparé solamente por el ISO y mantener velocidades de obturación lo más alta posibles, pues fotografiar con la cámara sostenida a pulso y con distancia focal de 300mm por debajo de 1/320s no es una buena idea, no siquiera cuando se dispone de un lente estabilizado como el mío...

ADDITIONAL TECHNICAL NOTE: Photographs captured with my Nikon D7000 DSLR camera in RAW format, then processed in Adobe Camera RAW for adjustments regarding light, sharpening, contrast and depth... They were then exported to JGP format on which minor modifications such as straightening and adding watermarks were carried out using PhotoScape 3.6.3.

NOTA TÉCNICA ADICIONAL: Fotografías capturadas con mi cámara DSLR Nikon D7000 en formato RAW, procesadas posteriormente en Adobe Camera RAW para ajustes relativos a luz, afilado, contraste y profundidad... Luego fueron exportadas a formato JGP sobre el cual se llevaron a cabo modificaciones menores como enderezado y agregado de marcas de agua usando PhotoScape 3.6.3.
