One Photo Series #26 - Places / Miejsca [ENG/PL]

There are places we visit only once in a lifetime.
Places to tick off a list, marked as “done.”
Places that, after some time, fade from memory.
They remain only in computers and phones — preserved as photographs.

And then there are places we long to return to.
Places impossible to forget.
Places that stay with us forever and become a part of our lives.
Places where we feel that this is exactly where we want to be at that moment.
And that these are not our last moments spent there.
That we will return.

One of those places for me is the Pieniny Mountains.
And this view — with Trzy Korony playing the leading role.

Są miejsca, które odwiedza się raz w życiu.
Żeby je zaliczyć, odhaczyć w notatniku jako „było się”.
Miejsca, o których po pewnym czasie się zapomina.
Pozostają jedynie w pamięci komputerów i telefonów — zapisane w postaci zdjęć.

Są też miejsca, do których chce się wracać.
O których nie da się zapomnieć.
Które zostają z nami na zawsze i stają się częścią naszego życia.
Miejsca, w których czujemy, że właśnie tam chcemy być w danej chwili.
I że nie są to nasze ostatnie chwile spędzone w tym miejscu.
Że jeszcze tu wrócimy.

Jednym z takich miejsc dla mnie są Pieniny.
I ten widok — z Trzema Koronami w roli głównej.
