variations on a theme: a pot of flowers by the foggy sea

it was an unusually foggy day for the middle of July so it was a good time to take a walk in search of photo opportunities. i walked along the outer harbor and the sound and got a few ok shots of boats and docks etc but then i came upon this striking pot of mixed flowers. it was a great subject but i wondered how to best capture the setting

i lined up and took a shot but was curious how other angles and settings would look.

and realized i should take a few different perspectives and see them a together when i got home

after some basic editing in contrast and saturation, etc i tried a couple of edits converting to black and white

hard to say which i like the best so i've included them all
