Not saying it'll help, but it is more difficult for your worries to find you when you're in the back of beyond and even GPS can't follow. Anyone else end up feeling like they need a holiday from the holidays by the time they're over?
For me there's not even family drama to speak of, just all the obligations and driving when all you want to do is relax. Well, that and a vague sense of unease with the smorgasbord of consumption that is the spirit of the season.
Probably doesn't help that Santa is being shady about that Pantsir missile system I asked for. What's arms control to a man who violates controlled airspace as a matter of course?
