¡Feliz Navidad para todos mis amigos!, Enhorabuena para todos los amigos de @Holos-Lotua con los que he compartido durante un año.
Hoy la isla no ha amanecido diferente, muchos hogares apenas tienen lo básico para alimentarse pero cuando concientizamos que la Navidad es un acto de amor aún sin nada porque Cristo vino a mostrarnos el rostro de Dios, a enseñar el amor radical, a redimir con su sacrificio y a abrir el camino a la vida eterna, pues nos place el día.
Desde esta comunidad y sus reflexiones he tenido conciencia de muchos temas, he visto alegrias y tristeza y ha crecido mi ser con ello. Hoy agradezco todo lo aprendido y agradezco además la disposición y saberes para hacer cosas nuevas con las que construyo a mi sustento y al de mi familia.
Me han pedido un pastel para la cena de Navidad y he dibujado con chocolate algo similar a un árbol de Navidad, Y a pesar de ser un símbolo universal y básico, no ha sido facíl y mientras lo hago, pienso si bajo esas ramas se podrán abrigar a los desposeidos.
El árbol de Navidad, se erige como un símbolo universal de alegría y esperanza en la celebración del nacimiento de Jesús. Su origen, remontándose a antiguas culturas que veneraban la vida en invierno, fue cristianizado en Europa, transformándose en un poderoso emblema de la Natividad.
El árbol representa la vida eterna que Cristo trae al mundo, un contrapunto de vitalidad en el frío diciembre. Su forma triangular alude a la Santísima Trinidad. La estrella en su cúspide es la Estrella de Belén, que guió a los Magos hacia el recién nacido. Las luces que lo iluminan simbolizan la luz de Jesús, que disipa las tinieblas del pecado, mientras que los adornos y esferas evocan los dones de Dios y los frutos de la salvación. Siendo así deseo mirarlo con alegria y no con añoranzas.
Al reunir a la familia bajo sus ramas para colocar decoraciones y depositar regalos, se recrea la atmósfera de amor, generosidad y unidad que rodeó el pesebre. Así, más que una simple decoración, el árbol se convierte en un centro físico y espiritual de la festividad, un recordatorio del amor divino que descendió a la tierra y que invita a la reflexión, al gozo compartido y a la renovación de la fe en el milagro de la Navidad.
La meta de los que hoy habitamos la tierra es compartir lo que tenemos y no dar cabida al egoismo, dar calor y amor al necesitado porque más que luces y glamour, esa es la verdadera esencia del festejo de Navidad.
En un mundo de profundas desigualdades, donde muchos carecen de lo esencial, la ostentación pierde su brillo y revela su vacío. Exhibir lujo excesivo no es signo de éxito, sino de indiferencia. Cada derroche superfluo contrasta con la urgencia de quien pasa hambre, frío o desamparo.
La abundancia se mide en la capacidad de compartir y en la sensibilidad hacia el sufrimiento ajeno. Moderar nuestro consumo, elegir la sencillez y redirigir recursos hacia actos de solidaridad convierte la fortuna en un puente, no en un muro. La auténtica elegancia está en la empatía y en construir una celebración que incluya a todos.

May that great tree shelter us
Merry Christmas to all my friends! Congratulations to all the friends from @Holos-Lotua with whom I have shared during a year.
Today the island has not dawned differently, many households barely have the basics to feed themselves, but when we become aware that Christmas is an act of love even with nothing—because Christ came to show us the face of God, to teach radical love, to redeem with His sacrifice, and to open the path to eternal life—then the day pleases us.
From this community and its reflections, I have become aware of many topics, I have seen joys and sadness, and my being has grown with it. Today I am grateful for all that I have learned and I also thank the willingness and knowledge to do new things with which I build my livelihood and that of my family.
I have been asked to make a cake for Christmas dinner and I have drawn something similar to a Christmas tree with chocolate. And despite it being a universal and basic symbol, it hasn't been easy, and while I do it, I think if beneath those branches the dispossessed can find shelter.
The Christmas tree stands as a universal symbol of joy and hope in the celebration of the birth of Jesus. Its origin, tracing back to ancient cultures that revered life in winter, was Christianized in Europe, transforming into a powerful emblem of the Nativity.

The tree represents the eternal life that Christ brings to the world, a counterpoint of vitality in cold December. Its triangular shape alludes to the Holy Trinity. The star at its top is the Star of Bethlehem, which guided the Magi to the newborn. The lights that illuminate it symbolize the light of Jesus, which dispels the darkness of sin, while the ornaments and baubles evoke the gifts of God and the fruits of salvation. Being so, I wish to look upon it with joy and not with longing.

By gathering the family under its branches to place decorations and deposit gifts, the atmosphere of love, generosity, and unity that surrounded the manger is recreated. Thus, more than a simple decoration, the tree becomes a physical and spiritual center of the holiday, a reminder of the divine love that descended to earth and that invites reflection, shared joy, and the renewal of faith in the miracle of Christmas.
The goal for those of us who inhabit the earth today is to share what we have and not give room to selfishness, to give warmth and love to the needy because more than lights and glamour, that is the true essence of the Christmas celebration.
In a world of profound inequalities,where many lack the essentials, ostentation loses its shine and reveals its emptiness. Displaying excessive luxury is not a sign of success, but of indifference. Every superfluous waste contrasts with the urgency of those who suffer hunger, cold, or abandonment.

Moderating our consumption, choosing simplicity, and redirecting resources towards acts of solidarity turn fortune into a bridge, not a wall.
