Las individualidades no son lo que parecen. Al comprender nuestra sombra, esa imagen que se proyecta al cruzarnos frente a un espejo, una vidriera o incluso en el reflejo de un ojo de agua, comenzamos a entender que somos parte de un todo.

Es innegable que todo ser vivo tiene el derecho irrefutable a la existencia, al igual que los demás reinos de la naturaleza. Aunque a menudo consideramos al ser humano como el mayor destructor de su entorno, nos sorprenderíamos al descubrir que no es tan simple.

Este tema, que podría llevarnos a profundizar en biología y la supervivencia de otros reinos, se aleja de lo que realmente deseo expresar sobre el ser humano. Regresando al ser humano y su individualidad, es fundamental reconocer que, desde el momento en que nacemos, interactuamos y nos vinculamos con el resto de la humanidad. Cada acción, ya sea positiva o negativa, tiene el poder de modificar conductas en otros.

A través de nuestros actos, imponemos nuestras ideas y teorías vivenciales, estableciendo vínculos que se reflejan en las reacciones de quienes nos rodean. El ser humano es, por naturaleza, un ente social; si pasara inadvertido, lo que es prácticamente imposible, su existencia aún impactaría a otros seres, incluso en un entorno aislado.

Sin embargo, el individualismo puede llevar a la creación de hombres y mujeres carentes de humanidad, incapaces de reconocer al otro como un ser vivo. Este enfoque egoísta impide que se reconozca el derecho fundamental de cada individuo a vivir.

Así, se generan seres sin sombra ni reflejo, obnubilados por su propia existencia como única realidad. Aquellos que carecen de sombra y reflejo no son verdaderamente únicos; han pasado del altruismo a la egolatría, temiendo a la vida y, en consecuencia, pisoteando a todo ser que perciban como un obstáculo en su camino.

Este estado de ser se autodenomina "individualista", un término erróneo, ya que en realidad son seres que carecen de respeto, tanto hacia sí mismos como hacia los demás.

Lamentablemente, la religión también puede contribuir a la creación de seres desprovistos de humanidad. La idea de que si no estás conmigo, estás en mi contra, lleva a la exclusión de quienes no comparten nuestras creencias.

Se espera que abandonen sus ideas y deseos de comprensión personal para ser aceptados, convirtiéndose en copias de los demás. Este fenómeno genera un mar de similitudes, donde millones de individuos se convierten en réplicas, sacrificando su autenticidad en el proceso.

Reconozco que la religión ha sido parte de mi vida y mi formación como ser humano. Sin embargo, a medida que he crecido, he sido testigo de las guerras religiosas y del fanatismo que han llevado a horrendos crímenes en nombre de un creador.

No culpo al mundo por su naturaleza, ni a la iglesia por los males que ha causado; más bien, la utilizo como un ejemplo de cómo se pueden comparar existencias libres con aquellas que son guiadas por líderes frágiles y humanos, incapaces de comprender el axioma del espejo. Este axioma nos recuerda que el reflejo de uno mismo puede impedir que otros sean dueños de su propia sombra y reflejo.

Perder la capacidad de reflejarnos y reconocer el poder de interacción que tenemos con la sociedad es un signo de que hemos perdido el raciocinio. Those who lack shadow and reflection are not truly unique; they have passed from altruism to egolatry, fearing life and, consequently, trampling on every being they perceive as an obstacle in their path.

This state of being calls itself “individualistic,” a misnomer, for in reality they are beings who lack respect, both for themselves and for others.

Unfortunately, religion can also contribute to the creation of beings devoid of humanity. The idea that if you are not with me, you are against me, leads to the exclusion of those who do not share our beliefs.

They are expected to abandon their ideas and desires for personal understanding in order to be accepted, becoming copies of others. This phenomenon generates a sea of sameness, where millions of individuals become replicas, sacrificing their authenticity in the process.

I recognize that religion has been part of my life and my formation as a human being. However, as I have grown up, I have witnessed religious wars and fanaticism that have led to horrendous crimes in the name of a creator.

I do not blame the world for its nature, nor the church for the evils it has caused; rather, I use it as an example of how free existences can be compared to those that are guided by fragile and human leaders incapable of understanding the mirror axiom. This axiom reminds us that self-reflection can prevent others from owning their own shadow and reflection.

Losing the ability to reflect ourselves and recognize the power of interaction we have with society is a sign that we have lost our reasoning. In love, we are also creators of idealizations and adverse reactions. We attract and repel through our immediate energies and needs.

For example, when a person is in a stage of sexual abstinence, he or she may manifest an overwhelming need that, instead of attracting, intimidates those he or she really wants to meet. This cycle of neediness can lead to situations in which everything seems to be upside down, generating problems and wrong decisions that lead to stressful moments.

Individuality is a concept we often desire, a need to see ourselves as unique beings. However, the true self does not seek to manifest this individuality for fear of unity.

Being unique and unrepeatable can hinder our integration into the societies that nurture us, instruct us and provide us with well-being. The image we project is only a small part of what we really are, like a star shining in the vast night sky, whose luminosity is in reality the reflection of a distant sun.
