Hay muchas palabras o frases que en la actualidad poco se escuchan, tales como bondad, solidaridad, empatía, no hacen mucho ruido en nuestra sociedad actual, pareciera que ya no quedan personas con todas estas cualidades, pero les tengo una buena noticia si, si quedan muchas personas que aun en sus corazones comparten estas aptitud, las viven y se pueden visualizar, no tienen que pregonar sino que al contrario se les nota. Claro hay que también ser consiente que este mundo ha crecido mucho la maldad, desamor, y la falta de humanidad, pero eso es bíblico y como cristiana lo creo y lo veo. “Y por haberse multiplicado la maldad, el amor de muchos se enfriará. Mateo 21.12.

There are many words or phrases that are rarely heard today, such as kindness, solidarity, empathy, do not make much noise in our society today, it seems that there are no longer people with all these qualities, but I have good news, yes, there are many people who still share these qualities in their hearts, they live them and can be visualized, they do not have to proclaim but on the contrary they are noticeable. Of course we must also be aware that this world has grown much evil, lack of love, and lack of humanity, but that is biblical and as a Christian I believe it and I see it. "And because wickedness is multiplied, the love of many will grow cold. Matthew 21:12.

Pero qué alegría reconocer que el Amor de Cristo también ha tocado a muchas vidas y de ellas fluyen todos estos sentimientos. En mi comunidad por lo general logramos ponernos de acuerdo para ayudar a las personas que tienen que salir de sus casas en busca de ayuda para comer o vestir, y siempre hay personas generosas que colaboran con ellas. También al momento que tenemos que limpiar nuestras aceras y alrededores de las zonas, vecinos apoyan con la mano de obra, mientras que otras les suministran el agua y refrigerios, y materiales para trabajar, aquí vemos el poder del acuerdo y la solidaridad.

But what a joy to recognize that the Love of Christ has also touched many lives and all these feelings flow from them. In my community we usually manage to reach an agreement to help people who have to leave their homes in search of help to eat or dress, and there are always generous people who collaborate with them. Also when we have to clean our sidewalks and surrounding areas, neighbors help with labor, while others provide them with water and snacks, and materials to work, here we see the power of agreement and solidarity.

Hace pocos días, un chofer de transporte urbano, salió de la estación de servicio y cuando entra en la vía principal para tomar nuevamente su ruta, visualiza a una persona que tiene su carro fuera de la vía, con el capo de su carro abierto y con cara de preocupación. Este chofer estaciono su auto y bajo para preguntarle a esta persona que problema tenía su carro y como podía ayudarlo, estuvieron tratando de encontrar la falla del vehículo, el chofer se ofreció a llevarlo a buscar el repuesto, lo trajo nuevamente hasta el lugar donde estaba averiado y como no pudo solucionar le llamo a un amigo mecánico para que lo auxiliaría. Así fue, el mecánico logro solucionar el problema del carro, la persona pudo continuar su viaje, que era hasta otra ciudad, y el ciudadano muy agradecido llamo al chofer para agradecerle por todo el apoyo que le había brindado.

A few days ago, an urban transport driver left the service station and when he entered the main road to take his route again, he saw a person who had his car out of the road, with the hood of his car open and with a worried look on his face. This driver parked his car and got out to ask this person what was wrong with his car and how he could help him, they were trying to find the fault of the vehicle, the driver offered to take him to look for the spare part, he brought it back to the place where it was broken down and as he could not solve it he called a mechanic friend to help him. The mechanic was able to solve the car's problem, the person was able to continue his trip, which was to another city, and the very grateful citizen called the driver to thank him for all the support he had given him.

En tiempos de pandemias pude ver muchos actos de Bondad, Amor, solidaridad, empatía, resiliencia. Este es un pueblo pequeño donde muchas personas se conocen, en mi caso trabajo en el centro de la ciudad, y tengo contacto con el público, pude percibir como muchas personas se organizaban para buscar medicamentos para otros que no tenían recursos, otros salían a buscar ambulancias o algún conocido que pudiera trasladar a otros que estaban en muy mal estado, mientras otras personas se ocupan de conseguir bombonas de oxígenos., también en las redes sociales se visualizaban las peticiones de ayuda médicas y general para personas que no tenían otra vía para ser atendidas.

In times of pandemics I could see many acts of kindness, love, solidarity, empathy, resilience. This is a small town where many people know each other, in my case I work in the center of the city, and I have contact with the public, I could perceive how many people were organized to find medicines for others who had no resources, others went out to look for ambulances or someone they knew who could move others who were in very bad condition, while other people were busy getting oxygen cylinders, also in social networks were visualized requests for medical and general help for people who had no other way to be treated.

Por estas situaciones y otras circunstancias vividas puedo decir que si, si prevalece aun en muchas personas la solidaridad, el Amor y la bondad. Doy gracias a Dios por todas estas personas y pido que día a día podamos ser más en las aun prevalezcan todos estos sentimientos.

Because of these situations and other circumstances I can say that yes, solidarity, love and kindness still prevail in many people. I thank God for all these people and I pray that day by day we can be more in which all these feelings still prevail.
