El día de la persona con discapacidad se celebra el 3 de diciembre, así que se aprovecha el momento para rendir homenaje a todos esos grandes luchadores que a pesar de la adversidad se han abierto camino, de manera especial se hace con los atletas, pero este acto se suspendió para estás fecha y fue estás primeras semanas de Enero que se hizo el acto.

Yo vine acompañando a Jesús Orlando mi sobrino que forma parte del equipo de Natación Piyos, los cuales practican y del equipo seleccion a los que nos representarán en otros países, según la velocidad, las prácticas, el dominio de la disciplina, entre otros criterios que tienen está Asociación Civil que tanto hace por estos jóvenes.

Participar en este evento me permitió conocer otros atletas de otras disciplinas, por ejemplo Salomón, este joven es un gran patinador, represento a Venezuela en diferentes ocasiones, aquí lo podemos ver mostrando con orgullo las medallas que ha conquistado, también me contó que próximamente irá Alaska, así que espero verlo teniendo muchas más oportunidades de ganar porque se nota la constancia y perseverancia de las cuales me contó que práctica en un Patinodromo que está en Naguanagua.

El lugar se llenó de muchas personas, todos iban a recibir un reconocimiento, además de poder ver un acto cultural bastante emotivo, además contaron con varios intérpretes de señas.

Quiero destacar el gran trabajo que se logró en la elaboración del Uniforme del Club de Natación, porque allí se logra ver lo que hacen con estos jóvenes, dicha labor no solo debe recibir un reconocimiento sino el apoyo en todos los sentidos, porque esto trasciende más allá de un mero compromiso laboral, es un compromisos que no solo los ayuda a ellos, sino a la familia, definitivamente es un apoyo fundamental.

Está grata experiencia con mi sobrino, me llena de orgullo y valor para seguir apoyando a Jesus en todas sus actividades, pues el tiempo junto le permite seguir con su rutina y aprendizaje, de seguro el día de mañana podré verlo como un campeón mostrando sus medallas, por lo pronto estamos enfocados a mejorar sus tiempos.

Cuando llegue al lugar no conocia a muchas personas, pero todos saludaban a mi sobrino, al verme me decían usted debe ser la tía, también compartí con otros representes, aunque es mi hermana la que se encarga de asistir a todos estos eventos, también me doy mi tiempo para fortalecer lazos emotivos con èl.

Durante el tiempo de receso, repartieron jugo, galletas y cafés, lo cual fue de alegría para estos jóvenes atletas, es que ellos son de un corazón tan noble, así que se sentaron para disfrutar.

Los jóvenes del Club de Natación también tienen un club de baile, que hizo una representacion genial, además que el uniforme que usar debe tener un significado especial, sinceramente ellos fueron de gran inspiración allí.

Llegó el momento de que mis jóvenes Piyos recibieran su reconocimiento y yo estaba modo tía orgullosa.

Gracias a todo ese equipo por tan maravilloso trabajo, espero poder apoyar como familiar cercano, mientras disfruto de eventos como este, así como en competencia de alto rendimiento.

Fue un exito ese evento, pero no me quiero despedir sin mencionar que está joven, nos impacto con un baile, pero mi sorpresa es que dijeron que tenía tan buenas notas académicas que es la primera en entre a la universidad a través de la OPSU con Síndrome de Down.

Nos despedimos con el Himno de Carabobo, ya siendo casi las dos de la tarde, así que no habrá práctica de natación hoy.

También conocí un grupo de chef muy especiales que fueron a recibir su reconocimiento, así que tomemos el ejemplo de ellos y nunca rendirnos.

The place was filled with many people, everyone was going to receive recognition, in addition to being able to see a very emotional cultural act, also had several sign interpreters.

When I arrived at the place I did not know many people, but everyone greeted my nephew, when they saw me they told me you must be the aunt, I also shared with other representatives, although it is my sister who is responsible for attending all these events, I also take my time to strengthen emotional ties with him.

During the break time, they gave out juice, cookies and coffees, which was a joy for these young athletes, they are so noble hearted, so they sat down to enjoy.

The young people from the Swimming Club also have a dance club, they made a great performance, plus the uniform they wear must have a special meaning, sincerely they were of great inspiration there.

The time came for my young Piyos to receive their recognition and I was in proud aunt mode.

Thanks to all that team for such a wonderful job, I look forward to supporting as a close family member, while enjoying events like this, as well as in high performance competition.

It was a success that event, but I don't want to say goodbye without mentioning that this young lady impacted us with a dance, but my surprise is that they said she had such good academic grades that she is the first one to enter the university through OPSU with Down Syndrome.
