Ink of devotion: the beauty of couples tattoo

in Tattoo World 🌎3 days ago (edited)

Getting a couple's tattoo is something special. It is one means of expression of love and commitment to one another in an individualistic and irrevocable way across time. I also might want to get a couples tattoo with my husband. I saw a beautiful tattoo in a movie once, and it really touched me. It made me think about how a tattoo can be more than just ink on skin; it can be a symbol of our bond and the journey we’ve been through together.

The concept of having tattoos on a single pair of belongs to the level beyond the design of tattoos, but the symbolism between two individuals of the couple. It is an emotional love communicator and a relational bond which connects us with the world. It may be quite basic but powerfully relevant, e.g., object/phrase that carries an identical meaning for us (e.g. There is something very touching about the idea of something that binds us at a soul level, deeper than words, actions.

I remember discussing it with my husband once. We talked about the kind of tattoo we wanted and where we wanted it to be done. We wanted it to be personal, something upon which we would be reminded of our love every day. It’s not just the tattoo that matters, but the journey involved in getting it, the anticipation, the thrill and the fact that we're creating a permanent declaration as a couple.

Seeing other couples with tattoos always makes me smile. It's as if they are having a private moment amongst themselves and is embossed upon their own body, a memory of their love story with them for good. The power of a simple sign, like a tattoo, to represent a lifetime of deep and devoted feeling can not be understated.

Of course, getting a tattoo is a big decision. It’s permanent, so it’s important to choose something that both of us truly love and that reflects our relationship in a positive way. We are looking for a design which will satisfy both of us, and, above all, which will satisfy us deeply.

Probably the most appealing feature of the concept of a pair/couple tattoo is its uniqueness. It's a common moment, a token of endearment that we can keep with us always. It's as if, one’s heart lives on one’s coat—and that literally.

In the end, even if we do not, in reality, truly actually, ever get matching tattoos of one another, the notion, however, of ever getting the tattoos itself is a romantic vow of our love. What it is all about is being loving, cheers to the experience of being together as a couple, and creating something personal and beautiful lasting. And who knows, maybe one day we’ll decide to take that step and get inked together, creating a lasting memory of our love story for the world to see.

Your post is very nice and romantic, I hope you can agree and get a tattoo that represents the love you have for each other. Thank you for participating. @vickiee 😉

I hope we will. Thanks.

A tattoo as a couple does not necessarily have to be the same design, it can be the half that complements the other's, and as you say, tell that love story that happened between two and that only they are able to interpret in the best way.
Thank you for participating in our initiative.

Yes it mustn't mean same design, it can just be part on one person and the other part on the partner. I think that is very cute. Thanks for reading me.
