My Favorite Tattoo Design as a Teenager: A Rope of Survival

To get a tattoo is one on my bucket list. But unfortunately, I can't get a tattoo yet, even though Mom is supporting me to get one. One of the two reasons is that I don't know a tattoo artist here in our small town. I saw some people posting on Facebook showing their tattoo artwork, but they are all men. And this is my second reason, I wish to get a tattoo from a woman, I don't know - I just really don't want to get it from a man. It's like I'm allergic to men, but to be honest, I'm just really shy - such a stup*d reason, I know that (≧▽≦). Lol

I remember during high school, I used to draw something on my fingers to make it look like I had a tattoo. Then there's my best friend Fer, who also draws something on my hand. I let her too because the touch of the pointed pen feels really therapeutic. She draws whatever is on my hand, like a heart, some funny characters, and more. So when I get home, my hand is so full of black ink, sometimes blue, sometimes red. Those are some of my fun and unforgettable memories from high school. (✿^‿^)

Of course, even during college, I do that too. It's still me who purposely messes with my hand or fingers using pen ink, sometimes I also let my other friends do it for me. It's really super fun. And I think, aside from finding a tattoo really cool, part of me wants to really have a tattoo because it's beautiful. Whatever was inked in a skin, it's still art. And I always appreciate arts because of their beauty, and isn't it really cool that an art, whether in a text or image, can be tattooed on the skin? They can be more meaningful, it depends on how you see it (ノ゚0゚)ノ→.

Anyways, my most used drawing on my skin during my teenage years was this design. A rope, aside from being easy to draw, I think this drawing is really cool. And it can symbolize a rope that you can hold on to whenever you want to give up. But back then, I never thought of that this way. I only think about the reason for that today, lol. Thinking more about it, isn't a rope can be used to save someone? With it's long length and it's strength, you can save a lot with it. And I can save my life with it too.

But on a deeper meaning, this can take your life too. But of course, I never think of it that way. People used a rope to hang themselves, but I won't think of this rope that way. It's my surviving rope. And whenever I'm sad, anxious, or in panic, I can hang on in here. I can firmly hold it using two of my hands, and I can survive those sad episodes of my life. Although it can have those negative meanings, well, you only have to be optimistic in life, it's hard, but not for me though ( ꈍᴗꈍ).

But seriously, this one really is cool. And if I ask the tattoo artist to put their own touch on it, like you know, making it more artistic, let their creativity get wilder. I'm sure they can still enhance this drawing to make it more cool and beautiful. I want! Seriously! But I have to find a tattoo artist first. And yes, I want this on my finger. To be honest, I want it on my ring finger, but then it will look like this, but on a second note, it's actually not bad, right? But I still think it's much cooler if it's in the middle finger. What do you think?

And another reason why I want this design on my finger is because of my fun memories with it. I want permanent proof that I had fun memories during high school despite the hard times I also had during that time. And I want to remember more those happy memories than those sad and painful days. This would be my beautiful reminder for me, now all I have to do is find a tattoo artist that will ink this on my finger. Ehe.

By the way, the reason I wrote this article was because I read the article from @lizanomadsoul73 Sorry for the tag ( ꈍᴗꈍ). After reading it, I suddenly remember my high school days when I used to have a tattoo, drawn only with a pen. Lol. It's a fun memory, so I just have to share it here too. I'm not sure if this kind of article is welcome here, but I hope it is ฅ^•ﻌ•^ฅ. Even though it is a fake tattoo (≧▽≦).

Thank youuuu ฅ^•ﻌ•^ฅ

This minimalist design is really nice and looks great on the fingers, simulating rings, although tattoos usually deteriorate very quickly on the hands.
And although in the community we want permanent tattoos, this story was very genuine! I hope you can find a female tattoo artist to help you make that dream come true.
Thanks for sharing the memories of your impromptu tattoos.

Right? It's simple but I think it is really cool once inked in the skin specifically on the finger, hehe.

Thank you, and I hope I can find some soonest. This is the first on my list to have (。♡‿♡。)

Hello welcome to the community @ruffatotmeee, of course your post is allowed because it's about a tattoo longing, as long as the topic is among the typical ones of the community, permanent or henna tattoos, modifications, piercings you can post here, and you don't have to have a tattoo to participate, everyone is welcome. Clarified the point hehehe

It's beautiful that rope design and more the meaning you give it, it looks like a wedding ring if you wear it on that finger, maybe you want to have a nice engagement 😉.

Your photos are very original, I liked them, thanks for sharing in the community, remember to comment and support others in the community and I invite you to participate each month in the initiatives that are activated by the inleo calendar, right now there is one of interaction.

Yayyy, thank you, I read that on the about of the community but I can't still be so sure ( ꈍᴗꈍ).

Haha, I really like the design and because I don't want to really get married, I'll just marry myself to myself (≧▽≦). And by putting this on my ring finger, then maybe, no one will ask me anymore to get married ( ꈍᴗꈍ)

Yep, yep, thanks noted! I'll check on them for sure ฅ^•ﻌ•^ฅ

oh I know this rope! It was our favoueite drawwing in our copybooks during my school times! It was so meditative drawing, I am still fond of it, but I didn't know it's a rope of survival! Now I love it even more!;))

I knew it this design was drawn by a lot of people in the world, hehe. Same hereeeeee. I'm not really sure who I copied this design during my school days but i was sure that I instantly love it. It's really a cool design no and it's full of fonds memories. Hehe

Hola, esa es la idea, la mayoría de los tatuajes tienen un significado en nuestra vida. Me gustó mucho que hayas elegido la cuerda, es la actitud que debemos tener en la vida. Saludos.

Yayyy, thank you, I'd rather have a meaningful tattoo on my skin, coz you know, bits permanent so we should really choose wisely ฅ^•ﻌ•^ฅ
