As we assess our progress and look at our pocketbooks, we have come to the conclusion that the presale is no longer going to be in effect. It closes officially today. It has been 7 months since we announced it, and figure anyone that wanted in, is already in.
With that in mind, the very early adopters of my dream game, will have some surprise extra perks they won't be expecting for supporting us at the onset. Thank you for believing in the vision and I hope all of you are still as gung ho as I am!
Currently, I am actively seeking private investors and am seriously considering creating a proposal. It is scary water though, considering the reception #splinterlands has gotten. But, you never know if you don't try, right? The other option would be to plug into some Venture Capital resources. Not at the top of the list, but development has been slowed down with the dwindling resources available and it is going to take longer than projected with the lack of interest from the Hive audience. Just is what it is.

GRAPHICS!
I am extremely pleased the way these all turned out! These particular throbbing icons, will be seen as menu choices and as you hover or opt to choose them, they will start the pulsing. Really cool in my opinion. Wish I could play already!
We also have tons of other icons and graphics we can show you in the next post. At this time, we have about three dozen 3D modelled NISMs and game characters. We've accomplished spawning them wherever we want and are currently classifying them all as we move into autumn. We're staying busy, don't worry π

Some goodies you'll want to see! Well, I liked seeing them, and I hope you are keen on what you have seen so far. Keep the faith! I too have concerns about "lack of interest from the Hive audience" for my own secret project (that you, of course, know about as my witness partner and friend anyway) and worry if the effort I've spent this past couple weeks on it, sleepless nights and days blurring together as I try to cobble together loose parts from all over the place, without a lot of documentation, guidance or help, are going to be worth the pain when I finally turn it loose to the world here.
But.
I think the point of what we are doing, your game, my project, is to revive and revitalize the current level of interest in some of the incumbent users and in turn try to help others alongside us also making new projects and keeping older ones going, to bring new life to this place, give it some CPR and try to resuscitate it. I don't think this platform is seven years in and ready to die yet, but I do think it's currently in critical condition and we need all hands on deck to work on life support shifts.
Keep building the game "you can't wait to play!" and I'll keep building my dream which I can't wait to use either. Build it, and maybe, just maybe, "they" will come.
A field of dreams it is. Interesting response in the way of Hive needing a facelift and to be revived. It really does. Seems to be stuck in the muddy rut of crypto and even social media as whole, it can't quite compare to other easier things out there. Teamwork man, let's do this.
