it’s been a long time that I didn’t draw any of the healers from Holozing. The last few weeks I’ve been drawing holomons and since it was kind of a challenge for me I enjoyed drawing them but today I just noticed that I didn’t draw the healers so I decided to make a portrait of female light healer. For this healer I designed some new accessories and also changed her hair style and outfit. I tried to make the painting look realistic and beautiful...

Started the bracelet by making flat knots in the following way: First I took the right strand, passed it over the base, made a P shape, then took the left strand, passed it over the right strand (which was on the left side), then passed it over the base and pulled it through the inside of the right strand (the P shape). Then I stretched the thread on each side evenly to make the knot. With your fingers you press it so that it is even on both sides and so we begin our weaving...

I wondered what would happen if healers could become creatures from #holozing themselves? So, with that idea in mind, I created this basic version of the #oceanhealer, and I liked the result. This time, I used a thicker line style that resembles brushstrokes of black paint, and I think it gave it the right touch...

Today I wanna share yet another sculpture of mine. The fanart I used this time for my creation is infurnal fanart. At first this wasn't my intending choice but somehow I had a change of mind and settled for this, I like how cute this turned out even though I didn't plan to sculpt it this way. You would notice that at some point I changed the direction of its ears, giving it standing ears seems cuter than the falling ears I sculpted it with before so I had to change the pattern along the way and I think I love that change...

Once I was clear about what I wanted to illustrate, I had to put some of my idea down in a sketch. In this case, the idea was that the Healer would be walking along the banks of a small lake or stream with the little creature (Ermy) perched comfortably on her shoulder. With the sketch finished, I was able to concentrate on the next logical step, coloring. Since in this case the Healer would be female, I decided to use slightly redder tones, as well as very soft brushes to achieve a more appropriate texture. For the shadows, I used oranges, and for the deeper shadows and occlusion shadows, I used the multiply...

For this round, I chose the Male Forest Healer, but for a change, I tried drawing him combat-ready. Usually, I draw my characters in a calm, idle position in a chill environment, but I wanted to make it more exceptional this time, so I gave him a sword and armor and I drew some magical power bars behind him in the background to portray him activating some of his abilities and spells...

The first thing I did was clean up my traditional drawing properly, taking a photo and adjusting the white balance and blending layers. This allowed me to separate the lines from the background and have them ready to start coloring. In my traditional drawing I used several ink patterns, and I think I’ll keep them for my coloring. I started by coloring the muddy swamp and the blue sky as the background...

today i made a new digital portrait painting of the ocean healer with a big smile on her face. smile is hard to draw, at least for me. in most cases they look very rigid and forced, even in this drawing if you look at the sketch phase, you can see that the smile was looking a bit creepy but i kept working on it untill it felt natural...
