[EN-ES] Embroidering Ermo - Holozing Fanart.

Hello Holozing community! Today I'm showing you my new fan art, this time inspired by Ermo, the evolution of Ermy the ermine. I finished it over a week ago, but due to my grandmother's health problems, I haven't had enough time to show it to you.

When I embroidered Ermy, I had enough thread left over, and since Ermo has the same colors in its design, I took the opportunity to do it. As you can see, I didn't do a full body because the thread wasn't long enough, so I only drew the upper part. Later I'll do the full body, as the shape of its tail is what I find most interesting; I love it and would like to be able to do it, even if only on a small scale.

Hola, comunidad Holozing, hoy les muestro mi nuevo fanart, esta vez inspirado en Ermo, la evolución del armiño Ermy. Hace más de una semana que lo tengo terminado, pero por problemas de salud de mi abuela no he tenido el tiempo suficiente para mostrárselos.

Cuando bordé a Ermy, me quedó hilo suficiente y, como Ermo tiene los mismos colores en su diseño, aproveché para hacerlo. Como pueden observar, no lo hice de cuerpo entero porque el hilo no daba para tanto, por lo que dibujé solo la parte superior. Más adelante lo haré completamente, pues la forma de su cola es lo que más me llama la atencion de este; me encanta y quisiera poder hacerlo aunque sea en una pequeña escala.

💙Step by step // Paso a paso💙

As usual, the first thing I did was trace the inner outline of the embroidery hoop to know exactly how much space I would have for the design. After drawing the design with carbon paper, I transferred it to the fabric. As you can see, the design is a bit faint on the fabric, so it's necessary to go over all the lines with a pen to improve visibility and prevent them from smudging. Then I placed the fabric in the embroidery hoop.

Como de costumbre, lo primero que hice fue marcar la silueta interna del aro de bordar para saber con exactitud el espacio que tendría para hacer el dibujo. Luego de dibujar el diseño con la ayuda de un papel carbón, transfiero el dibujo a la tela; como pueden observar, en la tela se ve un poco claro el dibujo, por lo que es necesario repasar todas las líneas con un bolígrafo para mejorar la visibilidad y evitar que se borre con el roce de las manos. Luego colocar la tela en el aro de bordar.

I began by embroidering the entire silhouette and the interior lines with black thread to outline each part. I used only three strands of thread to keep the lines from getting too thick.

Comencé bordando toda la silueta y las líneas interiores con hilo de color negro para de esta forma delinear cada parte. Para ello utilicé solo tres hebras de hilo para que quedaran unas líneas no tan gruesas.

With the pink thread, embroider the inside of the ears and the nose; these are the smallest parts, so a little thread is enough.

Con el hilo rosa borde el interior de las orejas y la nariz; estas son las partes más pequeñas, por lo que con poco hilo es suficiente.

Unlike Ermy, Ermo does have whiskers, and they're blue, the same shade as the fur around his neck. Therefore, I embroidered all these parts using all six strands of the yarn on the skein to speed up the process even more, since it covers a larger area.

A diferencia de Ermy, Ermo sí tiene bigotes y son de color azul, el mismo tono del pelaje de alrededor del cuello. Por tanto, bordé todas estas partes utilizando las 6 hebras del hilo de la madeja para acelerar aún más el proceso, ya que abarca más espacio.

Then, with the white thread, I filled in the rest of the body, being very careful when embroidering the face area, as there were several elements already embroidered and the space between them was not much.

Luego, con el hilo blanco, rellené el resto del cuerpo, con mucho cuidado al bordar en la parte de la cara, pues allí hay varios elementos ya bordados y el espacio entre uno y otro no era mucho.

With a hand needle I made two small white French knots, which would be the sparkle in the eyes, and two more blue knots, these a little bigger, which would be the two dots on the forehead, just like the original character has.

Con una aguja de mano hice dos nudos franceses pequeños de color blanco, que serían el brillo de los ojos, y dos nudos más de color azul, estos un poquito más grandes, que serían los dos puntos de la frente, tal y como lo tiene el personaje original.
