Wandering into The Holozing...

In the past year and a half, I have gotten quite involved in the world of blockchain gaming. I don't think I can describe myself as a "gamer" yet but I'm definitely getting to that point. To be able to claim this label, I have to get involved in more games and what better place to look for these games than our very own Hive blockchain. My search has led me to discover the new "Holozing game and I'm really glad I found this game just in time.

HOLOZING

Ok to be honest, this is not the first time that I have heard about this game. I actually heard about it after the very first announcement post was made but back then I was just too busy to check it out. Still, it was always at the back of my mind and I knew I'd get back to it. Well, here I am and I'm pumped to learn more about this game.

Just like everyone else, the first reaction I had when I saw this artwork was "aww. How adorable". After that, I noticed how they little creatures kind of looked like pokemons. Of course, this resemblance was confirmed after I read the overview of the game.

Just like what I think Pokemon is/was about, in this game you battle and catch monsters. I'm not a 90s kid so I have little knowledge about Pokemon but I think it was something like this back then. I know that I have heard some people talk about how they used to obsess over the super rare monsters that were difficult to come by back then. Nowadays, some of these pokemon cards have been sold for hundreds of thousands of dollars if not millions. Now, that is absolutely insane! It's value that many of us cannot even begin to comprehend.

These days we have NFTs that cost a lot but seem useless to people outside the space. It's really almost the same thing and this time around, I understand the why some NFTs are valued so high. I mean, I have a couple.

In that sense, I guess Holozing will be the Pokemon of this generation. We'll just have to wait and see.

WHY I HAVE DECIDED TO TRUST THE HOLOZING PROJECT

In this age, people are constantly looking for the next big thing. I am also always in search of the next big thing but I never do my searches without being critical and thankfully, I've been able to avoid a lot of bad projects. Holozing is different and I'm not just saying that as a platitude.

I first came across this project when Acidyo tweeted about it one time. I clicked the link to the post and was quite impressed with the the team behind the project. I don't know all the names I saw on the team list but I recognized Acidyo, Hiddenblade and Rishi556.

I know Acidyo for being the founder of OCD and Poshtoken. Thanks to him and the rest of the OCD team, many users have been able to come up in the Hive Ecosystem. For many years, they have been able to curb abuse and encourage development on the Hive Blockchain. That's a lot of value on one blockchain and clear proof of the impacts of Acid's "leadership".

I know Hiddenblade for being part of the OCD team. I believe Rishi556 is the person that built the OCD and love-sniper bots and possibly other important bots here on Hive.

So yes, there is a trustworthy team behind this project that have the capacity to see that it is successful in the long run. I'm just glad that I've gotten in quite early into the project. According to the Zing Registration bot on discord, I'm registered player number 1,503 which is pretty early.

GETTING THE ZING TOKEN BAG

There are 4 ways we can earn Zing and these include; Buying & Staking Zing, Holding Poshtoken, Proving Liquidity and Delegating HP to the zongtoken account. I had gone to claim any zing tokens that I had from holding Posh but there was nothing there because I did not have as much posh as I had thought. My next thought was to just buy some but then I felt like the price had not hit its bottom. So, I decided to delegate some HP to zingtoken and that's what I did yesterday.

I delegated 100 HP to the account about 24 hours ago and have been earning some tokens since then.

So I've been able to earn a whooping 7 Zing in the past 24 hours. It's just a start. I'm going to make plans to buy some more from my hive and hbd earnings.

WHAT NEXT?

From here, I'll just read the Announcement Post over and over again to fully understand the game. I'll also go over the Whitepaper again and again. If you want, you can check these resources out and decide whether to join the project now.

Think about it, there's really not much to lose and a good level of assurance as well given the team. At first, I wanted to start in 2024 but then I realized that there was no point waiting another week to join the club. Plus, new year resolutions are so overrated.
