Luego de varios días sin publicar nada, finalmente he podido culminar una nueva ilustración Fanart de @holozing. En esta oportunidad decidí hacer mi versión kawaii del personaje Zingu, este pequeño pingüino de hielo el cuál disfruto realizar.

Para está ilustración me enfoque en la composición y en una paleta de color de baja saturación para lograr un acabado diferente, espero les guste esta versión y sin mas que decir comencemos con el proceso de hoy.

After several days without posting anything, I've finally been able to finish a new Fanart illustration by @holozing. This time I decided to do my kawaii version of the character Zingu, this little ice penguin which I enjoy doing.

For this illustration I focused on composition and a low saturation colour palette to achieve a different finish, I hope you like this version and without more to say let's start with today's process.

Comencé con el boceto del personaje, aquí utilice los colores rojo y azul para separar el hielo del personaje. Este lo ubique en el centro de la imagen ya que seria el principal protagonista, seguido comencé a realizar el lineart con un color violeta oscuro para definir las líneas.

I started with the sketch of the character, here I used the colours red and blue to separate the ice from the character. I placed it in the centre of the image as it would be the main protagonist, then I started to make the lineart with a dark violet colour to define the lines.

En una capa por debajo de la línea aplique una capa de color oscuro para definir la silueta del personaje, por encima de esta fui aplicando los colores base al personaje, utilizando una paleta de color menos saturada que la de mi referencia.

On a layer below the line I applied a layer of dark colour to define the silhouette of the character, above this I applied the base colours to the character, using a less saturated colour palette than my reference.

Luego de aplicar el color, en una nueva capa realicé las sombras para darle un poco de volumen al personaje, también apliqué algunas iluminaciones en el hielo y ojos del personaje para que resaltaran un poco mas de los demás elementos.

After applying the colour, in a new layer I applied the shadows to give some volume to the character, I also applied some highlights on the ice and eyes of the character to make them stand out a bit more from the other elements.

Para terminar realicé un fondo de hielo y nieve para presentar al personaje, aquí utilicé algunos recursos como pinceles y texturas para componer el fondo e integrarlo con el personaje. Espero les haya gustado mi versión del personaje y nos vemos en un próximo post.

To finish I made a background of ice and snow to present the character, here I used some resources like brushes and textures to compose the background and integrate it with the character. I hope you liked my version of the character and see you in the next post.
