Happy Tuesday my dearest people of the artistic community and also for all those art lovers, many of you already know me, but for those who still don't my name is Manuel and this is my blog where I dedicate myself to share all my creations or artistic works. Today I come with a new representation of the Holozing game and this time I wanted to make an adaptation of one of the elemental dragons of the game to a much more human style and also warrior; the dragon I decided to choose this time is the Fire Dragon because I liked his style with wings on his arms, and I tried to take him as best as possible to a more humanized style but retaining its distinctive features.
As the idea of this is also to give names to each of the dragons for the game, I decided or rather it occurred to me that a good name for these fire type dragons in its base form would be (Flourix); and well without much more I leave you here below with the process of how I did it:
Feliz martes mi queridísima gente de la comunidad artística y también para todos aquellos amantes del arte, muchos de ustedes ya me conoces, pero para los que aún no pues mi nombre es Manuel y este es mi blog donde me dedico a compartir todas mis creaciones o obras artísticas. El día de hoy vengo con una nueva representación sobre el juego de Holozing y esta vez quise realizar una adaptación de unos de los dragones elementales del juego a un estilo mucho más humano y también guerrero; el dragón que decidí escoger en esta ocasión se trata del Dragon de tipo Fuego ya que su estilo con alas en su brazos me gusto mucho, y trate de llevarlo lo mejor posible a un estilo mas humanizado pero conservando sus rasgos distintivos.
Como la idea de esto es también darles nombres a cada uno de los dragones para el juego pues yo decidí o se me ocurrió mejor dicho que un buen nombre para estos dragones de tipo fuego en su forma base seria (Flourix); y bueno sin mucho mas los dejo aquí abajo con el proceso de como lo realice:

At first I made about 2 or 3 styles of sketch since I was not quite clear what pose to use to give a good appearance to my drawing, I tried a couple of poses a little more frontal that I did not like so much, and finally I ended up deciding to draw him, as if he was turning to his stalking side while raising both arms as if he was preparing to fight. Having finished with the line art the next step was the application of the colors, in this case I chose to paint the entire body structure of my character with a fairly saturated red color, and then I took my airbrush and watercolor to form the basic structure of the skin, a large musculature.
En un principio realice unos 2 o 3 estilos de boceto ya que no tenia del todo claro que pose utilizar para darle una buena apariencia a mi dibujo, probé un par de poses un poco más frontales que no me gusto tanto, y finalmente me termine decidiendo por dibujarlo, así como si se estuviese volteando hacia su lado rececho mientras eleva ambos brazos como si se preparara para luchar. Ya habiendo terminado con el line art el siguiente paso fue el de la aplicación de los colores, en este caso opte por pintar toda la estructura corporal de mi personaje con un color rojo bastante saturado, y posteriormente tome mi pincel aerógrafo y la acuarela para ir formando la estructura básica de la piel, una gran musculatura.
In the next section I dedicated myself to the details of the expression of the character's face, my idea is that the character would look very fierce, but not giving the impression of being an evil creature, so with white tones I created the structure of the eyeballs, and for the inner part I played with some light blue tones and a little white to form the iris; then in the area of the mouth I tried to leave quite visible his teeth with 2 sharp fangs coming out of his upper lip. Normally I like to add hair to my characters, but this time I chose not to do it because I thought the dragon warrior would look better like this, instead I created a long orange beard with my bristle brush and other 3-tip brushes so the character would look quite realistic and unique.
En el siguiente apartado me dedique en los detalles de la expresión del rostro del personaje, mi idea es que el personaje se viese muy fiero, pero que tampoco diera la impresión de ser una criatura malvada, entonces con tonos blancos cree la estructura de los globos oculares, y para la parte interna jugué con algunos tonos azules claros y un poco de blanco para formar el iris; luego en la zona de la boca trate de dejar bastante visibles sus dientes con 2 afilados colmillos saliendo de su labio superior. Normalmente me gusta agregar cabello a mis personajes, pero esta vez opte por no hacerlo ya que me pareció que el guerrero dragón se vería mejor así, en su lugar si le cree una larga barba naranja con mi pincel de cerdas y otros de 3 puntas de modo que el personaje se viese bastante realista y único.
With respect to the clothing I only proposed to create only a pair of pants that covered him from the waist down leaving his torso exposed to give him a better essence of warrior, with some brown, red and a little peach colors I created the basic shape of the pants leaving the fabric relatively loose, but with a fairly smooth texture. In the hands of the character I decided to create a large and sharp claws to give a little more ferocity and dragon appearance to the character, for this I used some gray tones without much texture and with a not so pure white I was slightly polishing the tips of the claws to give the appearance that they are very sharp and cut almost anything.
Con respecto a la vestimenta solo me propuse crearle solamente un pantalón que lo cubriese desde la cintura para abajo dejando todo su torso al descubierto para darle una mejor esencia de guerrero, con algunos colores marrones, rojo y un poco de durazno fui creando la forma básica del pantalón dejando la tela relativamente holgada, pero con una textura bastante lisa. En las manos del personaje decidí crear una grandes y afiladas garras para darle un poco más de ferocidad y apariencia de dragón al personaje, para esto usé algunos tonos grises sin tanta textura y con un blanco no tan puro fui puliendo ligeramente las puntas de las garras para dar la apariencia de que son muy filosas y cortan casi cualquier cosa.
As a scenario for my work I decided to take the element of the dragon as the main protagonist, and as this is a fire type dragon I decided to create around it a large and vivid flames of fire, for this I used shades such as intermediate orange, a lighter orange and 2 shades of yellow quite saturated, I was forming the flames from the inside inward gradually molding everything and then mix and blend everything until it was a single large flare; at the end to make the fire take that caloric effect I used the airbrush on the edges of the flame to achieve a much more vivid fire. Finally and as a final complement I came up with the idea of creating small spheres or flames on the fingers of the character to give the idea that he is about to throw them.
Como escenario para mi obra decidí tomar el elemento del dragón como principal protagonista, y al ser este un dragón de tipo fuego puesto se me ocurrió crear alrededor de el unas grandes y vivas flamas de fuego, para esto use tonos como el naranja intermedio, un naranjas más claro y 2 tonos de amarillo bastante saturados, fui formando las flamas de adentro hacia adentro moldeando poco a poco todo para luego mezclar y difuminar todo hasta que quedara una sola gran llamarada; al final para que el fuego tomase ese efecto calórico use el aerógrafo en los bordes de la flama para así lograr un fuego mucho mas vivo. Ya por ultimo y como complemente final se me ocurrió la idea de crear pequeñas esferas o llamaradas en los dedos del personaje para dar la idea de que esta apunto de arrojarlas.
