Hey, good morning, my dear #Hive readers! Happy Saturday to everyone reading this here this morning. I hope you are enjoying your weekend. Your friend Manuel here is super happy to share a new artistic post for my blog with you. This time, I'm bringing you an illustration inspired by the game #Holozing. This time, I wanted to focus on the creatures in the game and draw a picture of the big panda bear (PANYANG). In this case, what came to mind was that the panda (PANYANG) was performing a kind of quiet meditation in the middle of a large bamboo forest, in order to channel his internal energy and strength with the help of nature.
I hope you like this idea, and here I will show you a little of the process behind this drawing:
Heyy, muy buenos días mis queridos lectores y lectoras de #Hive, feliz sábado para todos los que se encuentran leyéndome por aquí en esta mañana, y espero que se encuentren disfrutando su fin de semana, por aquí los saluda su amigo Manuel super feliz de poder compartirles un nuevo post artístico para mi blog. En esta ocasión les vengo a traer una ilustración inspirada en le juego de #Holozing, esta vez quise irme hacia el ámbito de las criaturas del juego y realizar un dibujo sobre el gran oso panda (PANYANG); en este caso lo que se me ocurrió fue que el panda (PANYANG) estuviese realizando una especie de tarea de meditación tranquila en medio de un gran bosque de Bambus, esto lograr para canalizar su energía interna y su fuerza con ayuda de la naturaleza.
Espero les guste mucho esta idea, y aquí les mostrare un poco del proceso de este dibujo:

To begin with, I concentrated on drawing the creature (PANYANG) well. In this case, my idea was for it to be sitting right in the middle of a large forest surrounded by bamboo branches that reach almost to the sky. I drew it with its arms slightly raised and its eyes closed. Once I had finished sketching my idea, I moved on to the next step, which was coloring. In this case, I worked on the base with a range of dark gray tones. Using my airbrush brush, I created the base texture, giving some volume to the belly, arms, and especially the creature's large head.
Para empezar, me concentre en trabajar bien a la criatura (PANYANG), en este caso mi idea era que estuviese sentado justo en medio de un amplio bosque rodeado de ramas de bambú que llegan casi hasta el cielo, lo dibuje con sus brazos levemente levantado y con los ojos cerrados. Una vez termine de plasmar bien mi idea en trazo me pase al siguiente paso, el de coloreado, en este caso trabaje la base con una gama de tonos grises oscuros, con mi pincel de aerógrafo me encargue de crear la textura base dando cierto volumen en la zona de la barriga, brazos, y sobre todo a la gran cabeza de la criatura.
Since in this case the main character, or rather the creature (PANYANG), would have its eyes closed, I decided to focus more on working on the details of the nose and the reddish areas under the legs, using light pink and red tones. Then, using light gray tones, I created what would be the second texture of PANYANG's fur, which is representative of the famous yin-yang symbol. To do this, I colored the right half of its body, forming a kind of crescent moon. I did something similar with the head, except that here I made the crescent with dark gray tones, leaving the white fur as the predominant color.
Como en este caso el personaje principal o mejor dicho la criatura (PANYANG) estaría con los ojos cerrados decidí céntrame mejor en trabajar los detalles de la nariz y las zonas rojizas debajo de la patas, para esto use tonos rosados y rojos leves. luego con tonos grises claros cree lo que sería la 2da textura de pelaje de (PANYANG), la cual es representativa del famoso símbolo del (yinyang), para esto coloree la mitad del lado derecho de su cuerpo formando una especie de media luna; y en el caso de la cabeza hice algo similar, solo que aquí la media luna la hice con los tonos grises oscuros dejando, el pelaje blanco como predominante.
My idea for the setting was clear: to create an Asian-style forest surrounded by bamboo. To do this, I started by slightly degrading everything with pale green tones for the floor and yellowish greens for the background. Then, using brown tones, I began to create some rocks that would complement the setting so that it wouldn't look too empty. To create the bamboo branches, I used green tones and my watercolor brush along with my flat-tipped brush. Here, the strokes were longer and with 50% pressure. The good thing was that I was able to take advantage of the watercolor brush effect to blend the green tones more naturally and achieve a more realistic effect on the bamboo branches, as well as a little grass just below (PANYANG) and some bushes in the background to complement everything.
Ya para el escenario mi idea era clara, crear un bosque estilo asiático rodeado de bambús, para esto empecé degradando un poco todo con tonos verde pálido para el piso y verdes amarillentos para el fondo, luego con tonos marrones comencé a crea algunas rocas que sirvieran como complemente al escenario de modo que no se viese muy vacío. Para crea las ramas de bambú utilice tonos verdes y mi pincel de acuarela junto a mi pincel de punta plana, aquí los trazos fueron más alargados y con presión al 50%, lo bueno fue que pude aprovechar el efecto del pincel de acuarela para mezclar los tonos verdes de forma más natural y conseguir un efecto mas realista en las ramas de bambú; así como también un poco de césped justo debajo de (PANYANG), y algunos arbustos en el fondo que complementaran todo.
