Happy Saturday my dear people of #hive and to all those art lovers and happy weekend, your friend Manuel greets you and I am very happy to share with you a new artistic post for my blog; This time I come to share with you a drawing that I have been working on the last couple of days, it is a drawing focused on the #holozing game, and it is about the Healer of the Forest of the game. Lately I have done some illustrations about the Healer girls and I thought it was a good time to give prominence to one of the male characters; my idea this time was to represent the Healer as if he was camping in the forest, spending the night while he makes a long journey in search of his faithful friend (Infurno), which as you know is one of the initial creatures of the game, and which has been lost, and in a way the fire of the campfire reminds him:
Feliz sábado mi querida gente de #hive y a todos aquellos amantes del arte y feliz fin de semana, por aquí los saluda su amigo Manuel super feliz de poder compartirles un nuevo post artístico para mi blog; En esta ocasión vengo a compartirles un dibujo en el que estuve trabajando el ultimo par de días, es un dibujo enfocado en el juego de #holozing, y trata sobre el Sanador del Bosque del juego. Últimamente he hecho algunas ilustraciones sobre las chicas Sanadoras y me pareció buen momento ya de darle protagonismo a uno de los personajes masculinos; mi idea esta vez fue la de representar al Sanador como si este estuviese acampando dentro del bosque, pasando la noche mientras realiza un largo viaje en búsqueda de su fiel amigo (Infurno), que como sabrán es una de las criatura iniciales del juego, y el cual se ha perdido, y en cierta forma el fuego de la fogata se le recuerda a el:

I got down to work and as always I like to start by making some strokes and sketching a little what would be the skeleton of my illustration, in this case I took the idea of the Healer camping and drew him as sitting on a large fallen tree trunk while beside him contemplates a small fire that helps him stay warm during the cold night. Once I managed to express my idea in lines I could move on to the choice of colors, as the character would be in a night environment I didn't want to use very saturated tones, in the case of the skin for example I used a softer Salmon tone and with brown tones I placed the shadows on the left side of his face and the lights on the right side taking the campfire as the main reference of light.
Me puse manos a la obra y como siempre me gusta empezar realizando algunos trazos y bocetando un poco lo que seria el esqueleto de mi ilustración, en este caso tome la idea del Sanadora acampando y lo dibuje como sentado sobre un gran tronco de árbol caído mientras a su lado contempla una pequeña fogata que lo ayuda a mantenerse cálido durante la fría noche. Ya una vez logré expresar bien mi idea en líneas ya pude pasarme a la elección de los colores, como el personaje estaría en un ambiente nocturno no quise usar tonos muy saturados, en el caso de la piel por ejemplo use un tono Salmon mas suave y con tonos marrones fui colocando las sombras en el lado izquierdo de su rostro y las luces en el derecho tomando la fogata como la principal referencia de luz.
In the case of the eyes I used intermediate green tones to form the iris of an intermediate size so that it would look very expressive, and for the pupil I used a darker green to detail very well the inner part of the eye; I also placed small faded white dots which represent the brightness in the eyes. In the 2nd part of the coloring I took care of the hair, in this case I opted for a quite intermediate hair with the hair to the sides, I took a medium green tone and with the soft tip of my brush I was creating locks to the sides leaving the tips slightly open; then with some yellowish green tones I was textured superficially and creating a little thinner locks that overlapped each other.
En el caso de los ojos si use tonos verdes intermedios para ir formando el iris de un tamaño intermedio de modo que se viera muy expresivo, y para la pupila si use un verde ya más oscuro para detallar muy bien la parte interna del ojo; al igual que coloque pequeños puntos blancos difuminados los cuales representara el brillo en los ojos. En la 2da parte del coloreado me ocupe del cabello, en este caso opte por una cabellera bastante intermedia con el pelo hacia los lados, tome un tono verde medio y con la punta suave de mi pincel fui creando mechones hacia los lados dejando las puntas levemente abiertas; luego con algunos tonos verdes amarillentos fui texturizado superficialmente y creando mechones un poco mas finos que se superpusieran unos a los otros.
For the work on the clothes I took a little more time, try to keep a similar style of clothing as the healers use, but with a slightly more modern and novel style, in the case of the pants and shirt I used intermediate grays and browns, and without blurring too much so that subtle folds and bultillos where the fabric is folded would be noticed. In the case of the classic jacket of the healers I used some gray and white tones not so pure that I liked a lot, here I tried to give a texture to the clothes a little thicker, but above all quite smooth and bright with dark touches on the shoulders; in the case of the shoes I also tried to give them a modern style and I thought of painting them similar to some “Yeezy” shoes that I had a couple of years ago XD.
Para el trabajo de la ropa si me tome un poco más de tiempo, trate de mantener un estilo similar de vestimenta como la que usan los sanadores, pero con un estilo levemente mas moderno y novedoso, en el caso del pantalón y la camiseta use grises y marrones intermedios, y sin difuminar demasiado para que así se notaran sutiles pliegues y bultillos donde la tela se dobla. En el caso de la clásica chamarra de los sanadores use unos tonos grises y blancos no tan puros que me gustaron mucho, aquí trate de darle una textura a la ropa un poco más gruesa, pero sobre todo bastante lisa y brillante con toque oscuros en los hombros; en el caso de los zapatos también trate de darles un estilo moderno y se me ocurrió pintarlos similares a unos zapatos “Yeezy” que tuve hace par de año atrás XD.
