Very good afternoon my dear readers, happy start of the week to all of you and I hope you are feeling great today, as many of you already know me here but maybe others don't my name is Manuel and this is my artistic blog, where I like to share each and every one of my creations of the day to day. This time I wanted to start the week with a representation of The Forest Healer, one of the most famous characters of Holozing game, this time I wanted to give the character an air and style a little more mature, and I also wanted to add one of the most precious objects in the game as are the (Alpha Vials) as if she was in charge of transporting them safe and sound to somewhere ... I hope you like it and I leave you the process of painting and creation:
Muy buenas tardes mis queridos lectores y lectoras, feliz inicio de semana para todos y espero que se encuentren genial el día de hoy, como muchos ya me conocerán por aquí pero quizá otros no mi nombre es Manuel y este es mi blog artístico, donde me gusta compartir todas y cada unas de mis creaciones del día de día. En esta oportunidad quise empezar la semana realizado una representación sobre La Sanadora del Bosque, uno de los personajes más famosos del juego de Holozing, esta vez quise darle al personaje un aire y estilo un poco mas maduro, y además quise agregar uno de los objetos mas preciados dentro del juego como son los (Viales Alpha) como si ella estuviese encargada de transpórtalos sanos y salvos hacia algún lugar…ojalá les guste y les dejo el proceso de pintado y creación:
As my idea for this illustration was that the Healer of the Forest was a kind of traveler, I thought of drawing her with a large backpack, inside which would be stored some (Alpha Vials) which the Healer plans to transport to other distant lands. In this case I decided to start the whole coloring process with some warm tones since my idea is that the sky and the sun interact with the skin, I used at first my watercolor brushes and another one with square tip to gradually form the details of shadows in the neck and under the arms; then with a soft red tone I created a little warmth in the cheeks, nose and eyelids so that the character would take a little more life and realism.
Como mi idea para esta ilustración era que la Sanadora del Bosque fuese una especie de viajera pues se me ocurrió dibujarla con un gran morral o mochila, dentro de la cual estarían guardados algunos (Alpha Vials) los cuales la Sanadora planea transportar hacia otras tierras lejanas. En este caso decidí empezara todo el proceso de coloreado con algunos tonos bastante cálidos ya que mi idea es que el cielo y el sol interactuaran con la piel, utilice en un primer momento mis pincele de acuarela y otro de punta cuadrada para ir formando poco a poco los detalles de sombras en la parte del cuello y debajo de los brazos; luego con un tono rojos suaves fui creando un poco de calidez en las mejillas, nariz y parpados para que el personaje tomara un poco mas de vida y realismo.
For the hair this time I wanted to vary a little and change the wavy hairstyle for a much smoother and at the same time shorter hair, I took some green tones and I was creating the total volume of the hair and then I detailed little by little the locks individually ascending in the greenish tones. In the case of clothing I also wanted to vary a little, as it would be a traveler I chose to take some gray and white tones similar to those of her classic jacket and better create a long and casual white sleeveless dress.
Para el cabello esta vez quise variar un poco y cambiar el estilo de peinado ondulado por una cabellera mucho más lisa y al mismo tiempo más corta, tome algunos tonos verdes patosos y fui creando el volumen total del pelo y luego detalle de a poco los mechones de forma individual ascendiendo en las tonalidades verdosas. En el caso de la ropa también quise variar un poco, como se trataría de una viajera pues opte por tomar unos tonos grises y blancos similares a los de su clásica chaqueta y mejor cree un largo y casual vestido blanco sin mangas.
The painting of the backpack was done taking some soft brown tones since my idea was to replicate a texture like synthetic leather and thick, first I gave it a rectangular shape with slightly oval tips and gradually worked the volume leaving the top as if it were open to place there the (Alpha Vials). With not so pure yellow and white tones I created what would be the crystal of the (Alpha Vials), here I formed species of elongated rectangles with metallic caps on the top with soft blue tones, and then I had to lower a little the opacity to the layer so that the crystal was slightly transparent and the colorful content of the (Alpha Vials) could be seen; at the end I complemented everything with a background of blue sky in perspective from bottom to top and with some birds flying in the distance.
El pintado de la mochila lo realice tomando algunos tonos marrones suaves ya que mi idea era replicar una textura como de cuero sintético y grueso, primero le di una forma rectangular con las puntas levemente ovaladas y poco a poco trabaje el volumen dejando la parte de arriba como si estuviese abierta para colocar allí los (Alpha Vials). Con tonos amarillos y blancos no tan puros cree lo que sería el cristal de los (Alpha Vials), aquí forme especies de rectángulos alargados con tapas metálicas en la parte de arriba con tonos azules suaves, y luego tuve que bajar un poco la opacidad a la capa para que se transparentara levemente el cristal y se viese el contenido colorido de los (Alpha Vials); al final complemente todo con un fondo de cielo azul en perspectiva de abajo hacia arriba y con algunas aves volando a lo lejos.
