Here I am on the second day of Zingtober. The challenge has started and I hope to keep going!

The word of the day is "Discover", it was actually a bit of a challenge for me, I came up with several ideas and the one that seemed most acceptable to me was the one here. I related the word Discover with light, the discovery of something big and amazing, this is where Woolio comes in with the Holozing logo in the sky. The environment lights up with the power of Zing and Woolio is amazed.

This time I wanted to integrate blurred shadows and a central glow effect behind the "Z" and at the same time have it fall a little on Woolio. I imagined the environment to be quite natural, I worked on it integrating grass, trees, foliage of a quite lively space. I think it's the first time I've handled an illustration in this way, the truth is the absence of color sometimes makes me slow down a bit, but at the same time I feel that it gives me a lot of peace because it's nice just lines and strokes.

This style reminds me a lot of my youth, when I used to draw in black and white in a traditional notebook. I still remember the somewhat rough texture of the page, and the way the graphite slid.

Let's quickly see Drawing process:

As always, using my tablet, digitizer pen and Mebibang Paint as a drawing program. I started the illustration with a quick sketch to give me a fuller idea of ​​the objects and characters I would place, it helps me determine the space. Then I made a defined and fairly loose outline, I took advantage of making and cleaning up some details at the same time. Soon I moved on to the environment, I think that is where I invested the most time, it was quite relaxing because of the freedom of natural strokes. At one point I had a fit, haha ​​I felt that Woolio's eyes were not where they should be, thank God there is the lasso tool and I quickly solved it haha. For this illustration I wanted to use more black, so the central highlight would be more noticeable.
