Hi Holozing community friends!... I was watching for a couple of months now all this creative "boom" around Holozing and I have to confess that I've been loving it all... What caught my attention the most about Holozing has been the creatures... I haven't played online games for a long time, but Holozing has such attractive things that I know I will play it when all this starts to happen here in the #Hive ecosystem... So, earlier this year I ran to the game site and claimed my ZING tokens and started exploring the inventory and game ideas... Yes, this is a very good and successful project for sure!...

Another thing which pleasantly surprised me was the amount of excellent fan-art appearing daily in this community. This led me to think something like: "It's a pity that I only know how to take pictures and I can't draw or create models from some material and share them here"...

But today, while working on my laptop, I looked at the icon of the "LEGO Digital Designer" app on my desktop and a crazy idea came to my mind: "Maybe I can design some Holozing creature in LEGO"... And well... That's how I ended up here sharing this post!....

I chose to create Walle because I think he is the cutest creature of all (I love cetaceans, especially if they are blue)... Then I looked at several images of Walle on #Hive and spent several hours building this little digital model based on LEGO pieces... I don't know if this kind of work qualifies as "fan-art" but I had a lot of fun doing this (sometimes I can be like a kid, especially if it's about spending time in front of a screen)...

These are images of the 3D model taken as I was finishing it, some details (like the flat red eye and the tail in arched position) were added at the end...

LEGO Digital designer (LDD) is a discontinued software of LEGO, but it's still a nice thing to do this kind of work and have a lot of fun without the need to dust off and move my old LEGO boxes full of pieces with some of them over 40 years old... Anyway "It's great for playing like a kid and that's what I need to do"...

Here are some pictures of the CRETION PROCESS of this "Walle" (I like a lot this more recent name) model in the LDD interface (Click to enlarge please)...

As you can see, the basic pieces are in a catalogue whose base colour is red. So, this is such a fun thing to do, you can build the model and colour the pieces as they are used in it.

It is also feasible (and extremely useful to visualize how the model is evolving) to remove the construction interface and make it "float" on white or empty backgrounds...

Finally, it crossed my mind to put Walle on a yellow background (a desert I think, so maybe he doesn't find it very funny) to highlight more the model in contrast with that colour...

I'm sure I'll keep making more of these models. It's something I love to do, I've always loved creating in LEGO. I want to make my next model based on the evolution of Walle called "Waller"... It's lovely what you are doing here creating a Holozing Universe for all of us to have fun with... See you soon for sure!....
