Greetings friends. You may not know this, but I used to raise chickens, I have always liked this kind of birds to raise them. So when I saw this little pigeon named Fal, I felt the need to do it and share the figurine with the community.

It is a figurine that I like very much, because the pigeon is beautiful and the sculpture I wanted to make it with this tint of tenderness that everyone likes. You can see the final result below:

Saludos amigos. Tal vez no lo sepan, pero yo criaba gallinas, siempre me han gustado esta clase de aves para criarlas. Por eso, cuando vi este pequeño pichón llamado Fal, sentí la necesidad de hacerlo y compartir la figurita con la comunidad.

Es una figurita que me gusta mucho, porque el pichón es hermoso y la escultura quería hacerla con este tinte de ternura que les guste a todos. Pueden ver el resultado final a continuación:

Step by step

To make this figure I used plasticine in its entirety, using a wooden stick to hold the head of the pigeon and tools such as needles to mold some parts of the texture of the character.

Para hacer esta figura utilicé plastilina en su totalidad, valiéndome de un palillo de madera para sostener la cabeza del pichón y herramientas como agujas para moldear algunas partes de la textura del personaje.

Fal's body is a very basic shape, you could say that it is like a drop of water, in fact that is the shape I used to make it, a small black drop of water that I folded upwards in the most pointed part.

After having this shape finished, I used brown plasticine for the upper part of Fal's body, that is, where the tip of the water drop sticks out.

El cuerpo de Fal es una forma muy básica, se podría decir que es como una gota de agua, de hecho esa es la forma que utilicé para hacerlo, una pequeña gota de agua de color negro que doblé hacia arriba en la parte más puntiaguda.

Después de tener esta forma terminada, usé plastilina color marrón para la parte superior del cuerpo de Fal, es decir, hacia donde sobresale la punta de la gota de agua.

For the head I made a rounded and flat shape at the bottom, then I used three cones for the back part, those feathers he has behind the head as if it were a kind of hairstyle. Then, as I said, I joined the body of the figure with the head using a wooden stick.

Para la cabeza hice una forma redondeada y plana en la parte inferior, luego usé tres conos para la parte trasera, esas plumas que tiene detrás de la cabeza como si fuese una suerte de peinado. Luego, como dije, uní el cuerpo de la figura con la cabeza usando un palillo de madera.

The character has a slightly protruding chest, fluffy we could say. So, I used some beige plasticine a little darker for this part of the chest, I did it in three sections, a big one in the center and two more on the sides, near the wings.

El personaje tiene un pecho un poco sobresaliente, esponjoso podríamos decir. Por eso, usé un poco de plastilina beige un poco más oscura para esta parte del pecho, Lo hice en tres secciones, una grande en el centro y dos más a los lados, cerca de las alas.

Preciously speaking of the wings, these I made in three sections, three feather-like shapes which I glued one on top of the other, the middle one being the longest. I made six feathers in total for each wing, three brown and three light colored, the same as the chest. The brown ones went on top and the beige ones underneath.

These wings I put in place and used the tip of one of the wooden sticks to make lines along Fal's body to simulate the shape of the feathers.

Preciosamente hablando de las alas, estas las hice en tres secciones, tres formas similares a plumas las cuales pegué una encima de otra, siendo la del medio la más larga. Hice seis plumas en total para cada ala, tres marrones y otras tres de color claro, el mismo del pecho. Las marrones iban encima y las beige debajo.

Estas alas las coloqué en su lugar y usé la punta de uno de los palillos de madera para hacer líneas a lo largo del cuerpo de Fal para simular la forma de las plumas.

I also used two small beige balloons for what would become the cheeks of the character, which go on each side of the beak, which I made in yellow.

Finally, I made the eyes and then a base. For the base I simply made a sphere of different colors similar to beige, then with the same tip of the wooden stick I made lines to simulate the texture of a nest.

También usé dos pequeños globos de color beige para los que vendrían a ser las mejillas del personaje, las cuales van a cada lado del pico, el cual hice de color amarillo.

Para finalizar, le hice los ojos y luego una base. Para la base simplemente hice una esfera de distintos colores similares al beige, luego con la misma punta del palillo de madera hice líneas para simular la textura de un nido.

In this way the figure was completely finished. Below you can see a series of photographs of the final result:
