Glimmo - Pixar Style Fan Art Drawing [ENG-ESP]

Hello, dear drawing friends and artists who love to make illustrations of our Holozing characters, it is a pleasure to have met the new characters that were recently revealed, I have seen impressive artistic works of all styles, both drawings and crafts. Of the characters that were revealed, I have made a fan art of Glimmo, a tender turtle that emerges as a strong character and difficult to break through. I have made the illustration with colored pencils and trying to give it a style like the Pixar characters, Here I leave the step by step briefly, I hope you like it.

Hola queridos amigos dibujantes y artistas que aman hacer ilustraciones de nuestros personajes de Holozing, es un gusto poder haber conocido a los nuevos personajes que recientemente fueron revelados, he visto trabajos artísticos impresionantes de todos los estilos, tanto dibujos como manualidades. De los personajes que fueron revelado he realizado un fan art de Glimmo, una tierna tortuga que se perfila como un personaje fuerte y difícil de traspasar su defensa, he realizado la ilustración con lápices de colores y buscando darle un estilo como los personajes de Pixar, aquí dejo el paso a paso brevemente, espero les guste.

PROCESS

As you can see I have used prismacolor colored pencils, great in their tones and colors because they are very vivid, and since this character has warm colors, I want to take advantage of these colors to make it very striking.

Como pueden ver he utilizado los lápices de colores prismacolor, geniales en sus tonos y colores porque son muy vivos, y como este personaje tiene colores cálidos, quiero aprovechar estos colores para hacerlo muy llamativo.

Next I begin to paint the face using all the warm colors available, in the parts where the skin lightens I use ocher yellow mixed with white, so you can better see how it lights up and the volume can be appreciated. I have changed the color of the eyes to blue so that they contrast with the color of the skin.

Seguidamente comienzo a pintar el rostro utilizando todos los colores cálidos a disposición, en las partes onde se aclara la piel utilizo el amarillo ocre mezclado con blanco, así se puede ver mejor como se ilumina y el volumen se puede ir apreciando. Los ojos los he cambiado de color hacia un azul para que haga contraste con el color de la piel.

Then I continue painting the rest of the body, which I try to give many shiny details, the latter I achieve using a brush and a little acrylic paint. Another important detail I did was blend the colors with a brush so that they were better mixed and had a more intense shine.

Luego continúo pintando el resto del cuerpo, el cual trato de darle muchos detalles de brillo, esto último lo logro usando un pincel y un poco de pintura acrílica. Otro detalle importante que hice fue difuminar los colores con un pincel para que quedaran mejor mezclados y con un brillo más intenso.

FINAL WORK

What did you think of the result? I think it turned out very well, something important is the background, thanks to that gray background color it helped me a lot so that the brightness looked better, both the orange colors and the acrylic white color. Qué les ha parecido el resultado? creo que me quedó muy bien, algo importante es el fondo, gracias a ese color gris de fondo me ayudó mucho para que el brillo quedara mejor, tanto los colores naranjas como el color blanco acrílico.
