Merry Holo Christmas wishes u Forest healer!

We are in the first days of December, but already the Christmas spirit feels closer and closer, it has even caught some of the healers and also Holozing creatures, soon I will be sharing more Christmas designs with you.

Good evening friends! Today I want to present you my first Christmas drawing this time inspired by Forest Healer, I was very undecided whether to start with ocean healer or forest healer but I feel that this theme combined more with forest healer, this time I made a portrait with a look and a sweet smile, that could express the joy of Christmas, I accompanied my drawing with christmas accessories, which I had never drawn before and luckily I think they look good, the christmas hat, candy canes, candies on her cheeks and christmas lights decorating the whole frame of the image, to not change too much the essence of forest healer I kept her hair, I just made it darker than the original one, I also wanted to add the 4-leaf clovers in the form of small charms hanging from her bracelet along with the candy canes, the costume is not very visible, however, I tried to be inspired by the original to make it look as similar as possible, although I am very honest, I didn't detail too much the clothes, for me, it was one of the least important things, I am very happy with the result because I feel that it was very tender and normally this kind of drawings is not my style, another thing to highlight is that I was very afraid that the smile was very uncanny valley style and it happened to me a long time ago making a Fanart and that's why I'm afraid of smiles hahaha, luckily this time it was great, I hope you like this Christmas themed drawing.

Estamos en los primeros días de diciembre, pero ya el espíritu navideño se siente cada vez más cerca, incluso ha contagiado a algunos de los sanadores y tambien criaturas de Holozing, próximamente estaré compartiendo más diseños navideños con ustedes.

¡Buenas noches amigos! Hoy quiero presentarles mi primer dibujo navideño esta vez inspirado en Forest Healer, estaba muy indecisa si comenzar con ocean healer o forest healer pero siento que esta temática combinaba más con forest healer, esta vez hice un retrato con una mirada y una sonrisa dulce, que pudiera expresar la alegría de la navidad, acompañe mi dibujo con accesorios navideños, que jamás había dibujado y por suerte creo que se ven bien, el gorro de navidad, bastones de caramelo, caramelos en sus mejillas y luces de navidad decorando todo el marco de la imagen, para no cambiar demasiado la esencia de forest healer mantuve su cabello, solo que lo hice más oscuro que el original, tambien quise añadir los tréboles de 4 hojas en forma de pequeños dijes colgando de su pulsera junto con los bastones de caramelo, el vestuario no es muy visible, sin embargo, intente inspirarme en el original para que luciera lo más parecido posible, aunque les soy muy sincera, no detalle demasiado la ropa, para mí, era una de las cosas menos importantes, estoy muy feliz del resultado ya que siento que quedo muy tierna y normalmente este tipo de dibujos no es mi estilo, otra cosa a resaltar es que tenía mucho miedo de que la sonrisa quedara muy al estilo uncanny valley ya me paso hace mucho tiempo realizando un Fanart y por eso le tengo pavor a las sonrisas jajaja, por suerte esta vez quedo genial, espero que les guste este dibujo con temática navideña.

Process/Proceso

I made my sketch with all the details I wanted to add, honestly I was very nervous and with doubts of being able to paint each of the decorations since it is the first time I draw these elements, however, I never give up, I started to place the skin tones for which I chose pale pinks and desaturated browns for the shadows, in a new layer I added more colors to give a complete shape to each part of the skin, I started to mix the colors to leave a realistic and soft skin, I painted the clothes using a mint green tone, and I decided to make the shoulders a little less wide compared to the sketch.

Hice mi boceto con todos los detalles que quería agregar, sinceramente estaba muy nerviosa y con dudas de poder pintar cada uno de las decoraciones ya que es la primera vez que dibujo estos elementos, sin embargo, nunca me rendi, empecé a colocar los tonos de la piel para los cuales elegí tonalidades pálidas rosas y marrones desaturados para las sombras, en una nueva capa añadí más colores para darle forma por completo a cada parte de la piel, empecé a mezclar los colores para dejar una piel realista y suave, pinte la ropa usando un tono verde menta, y decidí hacer los hombros un poco menos anchos en comparación del boceto.

I added shadows and lights to the jacket and then I detailed a little more the hands and face, I tried to give depth to the candies that I painted on the cheeks to make it look realistic, for the hair I used a dark green as a base, then I added lights with a lighter green, I painted the christmas hat that at first I thought to do it in green, however, I realized that if I did it in this tone the drawing would be too saturated with green things, so I went for the classic red, with a hair texture brush I made the fluffy details of the christmas hat, I also changed the background to a dark blue with some lighting in the center, with dark brown I drew the wires of the lights in the shape of a frame around the whole image then I used green, yellow, red and blue to make the bulbs of the christmas lights, above the hat I wanted to draw three leaves with cherries, and it was very nice, then I painted the bracelets followed by the candy canes and the 4-leaf clover shaped pendants.

Agregue sombras y luces a la chaqueta y luego detalle un poco más las manos y rostro, intente darle profundidad a los caramelos que pinte en las mejillas para que se viese realista, para el cabello use un verde oscuro de base, luego agregue luces con un verde más claro, pinte el gorro de navidad que al principio pensaba hacerlo en verde, sin embargo, me di cuenta que si lo hacía de esto tono el dibujo quedaría demasiado saturado de cosas verdes, asi que me fui por el clásico rojo, con un pincel de textura de cabello hice los detalles esponjosos del gorro navideño, tambien cambie el fondo a un azul oscuro con un poco de iluminación en el centro, con marrón oscuro dibuje los cables de las luces en forma de marco alrededor de toda la imagen luego use verde, amarillo, rojo y azul para hacer los bombillos de las luces de navidad, encima del gorro quise dibujar tres hojas con cerezas, y quedo muy lindo, luego pinte las pulseras seguido de los bastones de caramelo y los dije en forma de trébol de 4 hojas.

All that was left was to retouch the last details, adding a little more color to the face, improving the lights and editing the image giving it a warm tone compared to the one I had at the beginning and that's it! I really enjoyed a lot doing this drawing and the details are very nice, if you have the chance to zoom in the candy canes do it because I'm really proud of how they turned out hahaha, it's silly but I really loved them too much.

Solo quedaba retocar los últimos detalles, agregando un poco más de color al rostro, mejorando las luces y edición de la imagen dándole una tonalidad cálida a comparación de la que tenía al principio y ¡listo! Realmente disfrute muchísimo haciendo este dibujo y los detalles son muy bonitos, si tienen la oportunidad de darle zoom a los bastones de caramelo háganlo porque estoy realmente orgullosa de como quedaron jajaja, es una tontería pero enserio los ame demasiado.
