An overview of everything Holozing so far

Holo everyone! While this is going to look rubbish, I figured I'd set up a general overview that may help readers get a better understanding of everything Zing so far and the near-planned future. The info posted here today may also make it easier for a more professional designer/artist to copy things off of which we may use for the website after. If you're interested in this, please let us know in the comment section and we'll get in touch by checking your references and past work for a small gig funded by @zingtoken!

We also have some graphs and charts that I decided not to include in this overview here today but will become public once the alpha version of the game is out.

I'll be using this post to include more things over time or anything I may have missed today, so feel free to bookmark it and come back whenever you may have questions or some new ideas you'd wanna entertain in the comment section! We will also be pinning this to the community for easy access and attempt to make clear updates over time.

Once things are settled and we've reached the point where we launch the alpha version of the game, we'll also make sure to include all of this in the litepaper on the website along with hopefully some nice looking infographics and charts with your help! Again, please comment here where we could discuss some work on turning some of these pointers into nice looking infographics that'll fit our website's theme.

As you can tell, there's a lot of stuff that'll go towards our first game, you may even say too much for an alpha, but we want to make sure it'll be as unique and have a lot of different activities and options to give players to make sure they stick around once they get into the world of Holozing. We haven't even touched much on professions here but that is something we'd wanna wait out until the beta version and we may drop zing to players in the alpha instead of resources when playing the game at first.

You can quickly download an extension on Chrome, probably other browsers, that translates images with a simple right click:

I'm super excited about the launch of this game.

The PvP metrics are well thought out and attractive for those who like to do things "the hard way."

I'm looking forward to seeing how Zing token will be utilized in-game in its full capacity.

I really like how you've decided to launch Zing token pre-game release as well with attractive rates of return for staking and liquidity. I suspect those who've invested into the Zing token market early will find great benefits to the in-game use of the token they supported in the future when HoloZing is launched.

Does this mean that Alpha players have significant advantage like other games or are you guys gonna change the mechanics after official release resetting the whole thing?

Like to know more about this gig as well.
I can do well when it comes to anime style art.

Ah private alpha testers won't get a head start, we'll also open it up publicly before launching the beta version with a clean slate and a heads up on when it'll launch to give people time to be part of it from the beginning.

The private one is mainly cause things aren't fully 3d'd yet and we don't know when we'll have the funding to turn everything into 3d for the beta, so it'll be a bit ugly (and is also a reason we haven't leaked any teasers yet) and the focus will be mostly on balancing creature stats + moves and healer items + abilities and the obvious bugs until public alpha can tackle the more hidden bugs.

There may however be some other kind of small rewards for testers, maybe just an achievement for having been part of the closed and open alpha and similar the beta.

Ah good to know. You still haven't answered about the gig you were talking about or maybe you did 🤔? If it's making 3d models then I'm no good haha.

Ah the gig from the post? It's not about artwork that much really, we're looking for someone who can create some nice infographics with the holozing font for the website to include some of the concrete details mentioned in this post. Like a nice design that fits with the website to give newcomers a quick rundown of what they can expect before buying a healer+pack.

We may end up using some fanart from the community as background images on the infographics though, and if that is the case we'll contact them and offer some fair compensation.

Ah I see. I'm also waiting to see the infographics of this game to better understand it. It's too much information in writing and this will definitely fix it.

Wow that's a lot of effort and a lot to digest! Thanks for the content - got to go through them slowly when I have time.

I think you did a really good job of summarizing a lot of the things in the game. I can just go back to this post and easily find answers. I do get why you would be looking for visual artists to help with the infographic. There is a whole lot of text there haha. I suck at art, but I think it would help them if there are more images related to the topics discussed; how battles look, how monsters levelling up is like, etc.

I think it will be smart to incorporate some info graphics etc as people seem to absorbed those much better over walls of text. I know there's a ton of talent here on hive in terms of designers and being able to build such things.

I did two videos last night for this overview with potentially more details that people can listen to if they're interested. Will be posting today as it got quite late. :D

The more different activities and options the players have, the better and between all these opinions, the better the idea will be of how the final pieces of the game fit together #Holizing, the more we are involved, the better the updates will be, teamwork will always be the best option.

Very nice to read this nice update and learned a lot. The decisions you make to keep these games updated, and the constant work you and all members of this community are doing will truly take the game to a unique level. Healers Instruments and Radiant, Halo Max Creatures Online and Offline will take this game to a higher level. All of our support will always be there to move the games uper level.

Scott Manley is the dude a lot of people went to in order to learn about orbital mechanics, so they could actually enjoy Kerbal Space Program. I don't know the other one mentioned.

All of this is living upto my expectations. It is very rare to see a project that give this level of attention to the gameplay mechanics. Wish you the best at getting noticed by rest of the cryptosphere. Too many players are wasting their time on games that are not even very good.

Thankyou for the update I would love to get my hands on a radiant infurno. I’m also eager to see what healer I will receive upon opening alpha. I’m really hyped for holozing and I think it sill attract a lot of players into this space. Just a question in regards to the gameplay will it be a web clicker game or like an adventure game where you free roam. I’d be happy either way but just intrigued. Thanks
