Black beetles with yellow body parts or known as “Languriini” are a family of beetles known as lizard beetles, in the family Erotylidae, subfamily Languriinae. Lizard beetles are usually found on leaves or flowers, and their larvae attach to plant stems.

Adult beetles are generally long and parallel with a red thorax. There are about 5 genera and at least 20 species described in Languriini. This beetle has a long, black body and only a few parts of its body are yellow.
