Genus Chrysosoma

Today I spent almost the whole day at home, doing a lot of activities such as cleaning the yard from mud due to flooding and taking care of plants that are getting worse. In front of my house there are two young mango trees, and I also cleaned and took care of them, such as giving them fertilizer and watering them. When I was cutting some small branches, I suddenly found a green fly or more often called a long-legged fly perched on the mango leaves.

We can see from some of the photos that I will share, this fly has quite long legs, even longer than its body size. What is even more interesting is that this fly has a very beautiful color, namely bright green, the green color makes this fly easily camouflaged among other green leaves, its small size also makes it a little difficult for us to find it.

It is very difficult to photograph this fly, its small size makes it move very agilely and also fly very fast, I had to try several times to be able to photograph it.
