There are many activities that cannot be done after the flash flood receded, people are busy cleaning their homes from mud, even until now there are still some residents who are still in evacuation centers. Some of my plantations were also affected, many young oil palm plants were washed away by the flood and it was very detrimental, day by day new shoots of the plants began to grow and that was the beginning of a new life.On top of the wild leaves I managed to find a pair of green tortoise beetles mating, this insect has many names in my area, some call it the shield beetle, green beetle, tortoise beetle and several other names.

As its name suggests, this beetle has a shell that closely resembles a turtle's. At first glance, its shell also resembles a shield. Perhaps the beetle's name is derived from its body shape. This beetle is characterized by its green color and black spots all over its body. This beetle also has a transparent shell.

Okay everyone, now I will share some pictures of this beetle here.
