Genus Dacrymyces | 20-01-2024 | North Acèh Regency, Acèh, Indonesia |
Sepesia mushrooms (Genus Dacrymyces) or also called jelly mushrooms because they have a stalk surface with a smooth and chewy texture but are small in size and shaped like a spatula or tuning fork, so they have a very unique appearance. They are generally bright yellow orange when young, but gradually turn reddish orange when they reach maturity or maturity. This fungus is also very easy to get in the normal environment and grows on wet wood, even though the wood is still hard and has not rotted, but they dry out very easily because they have a jelly-like texture.
