i would just like to point out that the Bible is NOT against meditation at ALL. If anything it is the most detailed set of instructions to navigating the inner world (reffered to as simply 'earth' in bible). It even tells you to "be still ,and know that i am" ,which is the most straight forward explenation of meditation i've ever heard ...
But yes ,new age is wrong as in they use meditation to elivate the ego ,to make the ego God ,instead off letting your ego (personality) dissolve completely in God's personality (pure unconditional Love).
