Hada inspirada en la flor de Fucsia

Hola queridos amigos de la comunidad!
Espero haya sido un bonito día para todos, por acá el clima cambió in poco y nos trajo unas refrescantes e inesperadas lluvias, y aproveche el fresco día para terminar una ilustración que estaba haciendo, esta vez me inspire en unas bonitas flores a las que mi abuela llama bailarinas por su forma de campana hacia abajo que recuerda a un vestido, es una flor preciosa y que cuando florece ofrece un espectáculo colorido, a continuación les mostrare un poco del proceso, espero sea de su agrado.

I hope you all had a nice day. Here, the weather changed a little and brought us some refreshing and unexpected rain, and I took advantage of the cool day to finish an illustration I was working on. This time, I was inspired by some beautiful flowers that my grandmother calls “ballerinas” because of their downward-facing bell shape, which resembles a dress. It is a beautiful flower that offers a colorful spectacle when it blooms. Below, I will show you a little bit of the process. I hope you like it.

Mi regularidad con el dibujo ha estado algo inestable, pero quiero recuperar mi ritmo así que esta vez decidí hacer esto como una manera de dibujar solo por el gusto de hacerlo, sin ninguna regla solo me deje llevar, para la pose quería algo parecido a una bailarina de ballet y controsionismo, así que estuve viendo algunas referencias hasta que di con una que me agrado bastante.

Una vez dibujada la figura procedí a caracterizarla como la flor que quería, en primer lugar dibuje un gorrito, que formarían las primera capa de pétalos de la flor, estos primeros pétalos tienen una textura más rígida, para el vestido elegí la parte de pétalos morados y que son más finos y frágiles, decidido esto comencé a darle el color correspondiente a cada parte de esta ilustración.

My consistency with drawing has been somewhat unstable, but I want to get back into the habit, so this time I decided to do this as a way to draw just for the fun of it, without any rules, just letting myself go. For the pose, I wanted something similar to a ballet dancer and contortionist, so I looked at some references until I found one that I really liked.

Once I had drawn the figure, I proceeded to characterize it as the flower I wanted. First, I drew a little hat, which would form the first layer of petals of the flower. These first petals have a more rigid texture. For the dress, I chose purple petals, which are thinner and more fragile. Once I had decided on this, I began to color each part of the illustration.

Además de la temática de esta ilustración, también estaba interesada en probar unos nuevos pinceles que descargue por allí, en especial me interesan los que tienen te tura de grafitos, lapices y crayones, me encanta el efecto que logran crear este tipo de líneas en la ilustración, además descargue otro paquete con texturas a aguadas de acuarela que fue la que coloque inicialmente en el fondo.

Comencé dando textura en la piel, use pinceles con textura de crayones para crear tramas y así darle el efecto que quería, esta técnica es de mis favoritas, es como si estuviese pintando en tradicional, aunque eso también hace que esa una de las más demoradas, pero en este dibujo quería relajarme así que me entretuve un buen rato pincelando y creando la textura en la piel.

In addition to the theme of this illustration, I was also interested in trying out some new brushes that I downloaded, especially those with graphite, pencil, and crayon textures. I love the effect that these types of lines create in illustrations. I also downloaded another package with watercolor textures, which I initially placed in the background.

I started by adding texture to the skin, using crayon-textured brushes to create patterns and achieve the effect I wanted. This technique is one of my favorites; it's like traditional painting, although that also makes it one of the most time-consuming. But in this drawing, I wanted to relax, so I spent a good while brushing and creating texture on the skin.

Comencé luego a definir su traje, para su gorrito quería igualmente el efecto antes descrito, tome el pincel con textura en una tamaño pequeño y comencé a crear trazos largos en dirección de los pétalos de la flor y fui creando la tridimensionalidad del mismo, la misma técnica la aplique también sobre su vestido.

Luego dibuje mi parte favorita, las alas, a mi me gustan mucho las que parecen alas de insecto, como las largas alas de las libélulas, así que es el estilo oque siempre suelo usar en ilustraciones de este estilo y esta no sería la excepción, dibuje sus largas y traslucidas alas despertar de su espalda y difumine un poco para crear un efecto muy bonito de alas traslucidas.

I then began to define her costume. For her hat, I wanted the same effect described above, so I took a small textured brush and began to create long strokes in the direction of the flower petals, creating a three-dimensional effect. I applied the same technique to her dress.

Then I drew my favorite part, the wings. I really like wings that look like insect wings, such as the long wings of dragonflies, so that's the style I always use in illustrations of this kind, and this one was no exception. I drew her long, translucent wings emerging from her back and blurred them a little to create a very beautiful effect of translucent wings.

Mi idea inicial era conservar el fondo solo con la mancha de a acuarela, pero decidí mejor dibujarla en medio de un jardín con flores de Fucsia, se supone que esta hadita tiene un tamaño solo un poco más grande que estas flores para poder camuflarse entre ellas, así que dibuje las flores y las hojas en la proporción de la hadita. Este fue un ejercicio muy gratificante para mi, de exploración de técnicas y materiales, espero que haya sido de su agrado, un abrazo.

My initial idea was to keep the background with just the watercolor stain, but I decided it would be better to draw her in the middle of a garden with fuchsia flowers. This little fairy is supposed to be only slightly larger than these flowers so she can camouflage herself among them, so I drew the flowers and leaves in proportion to the fairy. This was a very rewarding exercise for me, exploring techniques and materials. I hope you liked it. Best wishes.
